@JoelandtheBots Not at all......well, I have been listening "Florence and the Machine" for a while, then while I was making this video I thought "Dog days Are over is perfect!". I love the intro and her voice; and since this movie was so hard to produce for Leslie I think that when he finally did it he said "the dog days are really over".
@LevZeppelin3 Poor guy! But you are right, it's very likely he would say something to that extent after seeing his labor of love through to completion. I just wish he could have seen how it inspired others to do the same in real life. :((
BTW I have never heard of Florence and the Machine until hearing this song, now I can't seem to stop listening to it!
I love all of your Leslie Howard videos, but this one is just my absolute favorite! His final words at the end are still haunting to me. Indiana Jones? Feh! Professor Smith all the way!
Fantastic :) This is my favorite Leslie Howard movie! (Just thought I'd comment again since I just noticed that my comment from a few months ago was removed by accident.)
I love Leslie Howard

I am curious, what inspired you to choose this particular song, if you don't mind me asking?

@JoelandtheBots It's a great band, isn't it? And the singer is beautiful......such legs.
And I've read somewhere that a Hungarian guy was inspired by this movie and saved many persecuted people from the nazis. Leslie did a great job.

@JoelandtheBots You are damn right. And I think that this movie, together with Pygmalion, are hist best works.
