Beat it with A minute and 20 seconds to spare! It's really easy when you think about it. I actually think Dreadnought's is the hardest. You miss one coin, and you have to die. T_T I have bad memories from THAT challenge. And don't talk to me about the Meatpen. That put in a rage for a few seconds.

@drybowserman9091 As long as you remember the controls are switched when you're upside down on Dreadnought, it's not that hard. And the Meatpen one (Ghostly Galaxy?) isn't hard if you take the right paths and hurry.

@drybowserman9091 Sorry, I got Dreadnought confused with another one. I got close to Dreadnought the first try and am currently on my second. But on Meatpen, you just need to go the paths with the most coins and stay near the center when you're close to 100.

Finally beat this (my final star) last night. Essentially followed the path in this video. Rotate the camera directly behind Mario to make those long jumps STRAIGHT. Also I *NEVER WALKED* onto the yellow spinning squares. I always jumped (usually with a spin) right onto the coin and immediately jumped off (with spin) to the next platform.

The difficulty of this star is so overrated, it took me 5 tries and I'm not even that good at this game, there are more than 100 coins and all you have to do is long jump/spin to get them all without stopping on a platform for more than a few seconds.

The battlerock galaxy purple coin challenge was WAY harder.

this level isnt really that hard if u have a route to take one major tip is ALWAYS LEAVE TILES FOR YOU TO COME BACK TO. otherwise you'll have all 100 but ull be stranded. that happened to me once and i tried to long jump, but still died

honestly I completed Mario's Purple Coins THEN realized "Oh shit...I have to JUMP back to the star?" because I got rid of all the platforms so I had to complete it AGAIN, imagine how pissed off I was

then having to do Luigi's Purple Coins, thanks for showing me this strategy, I forget that not all purple coin levels have EXACTLY 100, the hardest part for me would be long jumping cause of the camera swinging around

I've killed 200 guys trying for this star. I don't mind shrinking platforms. I don't mind revolving ones. I don't even mind the coins suspended over the far corners of the board. But I do hate the long jumps. I hit the right buttons and half the time he does a ground pound that lands me in the dark matter or I fall off the board. IM-FUCKING-POSSIBLE. This video makes me even madder. I know a way to make this board disappear. But it involves throwing my wii remote into the television...

@Jbean678 you're doing ground pounds instead?.. that should never happen - make sure you push Z first, then A if you want to long jump. worst case scenario you do a backflip, but that should very rarely happen.
