I've heard some very bad things about Ocean Towers, friends of mine went there and turned it down right away, they said it was dirty and the area was not good and the rent was pricy. I am looking for apartments in Halifax myself
Anyway, guess what! I've been living at Ocean Towers for the past 8 months and it's not as bad as you've been apparently led to believe. The area has been significantly gentrified in the last few years and the rent is as good as any other place. I just don't like that I'm on the first floor.
@MrExplorer7 are you familiar with the ChurchHill apartments down around Morris Street? I don't know the building that well but the rent looked fairly reasonable for downtown. I think it's run by the same people who run Garden Park. I was just looking for reviews on that building as it was a consideration.

Looks like an ok place. How many square feet is it and what's the rent each month if you don't mind my asking.
I'm going to living at ocean towers soon on north Brunswick street. Do you know anyone who lives there?
