That sure sounds fantastic, pure analogue power, can blow any digital system into the weeds for sound quality! Korg PS3200/3300 certainly the best modular systems ever.

L'ho comprato nuovo nel 1981, mese di ottobre; lo stesso era stato scelto dalla Korg per dimostrazione alla fiera di Milano di quell'anno.

Lo acquistai poco piu' di 7 milioni delle vecchie lire invece degli 8 previsti; proprio per questo particolare.

Gli altri 3200 non suonano cosi' bene, oggi, a distanza di

27 anni, suona meglio!!

If you look up Korg PS3300 in wikipedia, both JMJ and Vangelis had the 3300 (no money problems there) + a second-hand won was sold for 21000USD. So your 3200 could be quite valuable!

I'm trying to work out if this sound is more VANGELIS or JEAN MICHEL JARRE! I believe Vangelis used a Korg PS on his "Chariots of Fire" album. It's perhaps a mix of the 2 composers!

This perhaps is one of the nicest instruments ever made, with 48 note poliphony and 48 oscilators etc for very rich sounds. Please, some more Vangelis and JMJ if possible on this Classic Vintage Machine.

Just a quick thought - Is it possible for you to play Amazing Grace on this?

Yes, this is the top of synthesizers, and i use also Moog modular,Minimoog and the best of the sound in the world.

Important: only this 3200 play that.

Thanks for answering. It's a really beautiful instrument with a really fantastic sound! You are right, just playing a few notes is lovely. I wonder what the 3300 sounds like! The reason for Amazing Grace is that it's an amazing song about the Grace of God to us sinners if we accept his love for us in Jesus! It would be lovely played on it.

Anyway, I love the sounds - I also love the G-Force String Machine, & Arturia CS80, +(Analog Factory etc).

Superb musical intrument my favorite along with the oberheim SEMS and Yamaha PS series, The modern stuff doesnt come close to the beuty and elagance of these classic instuments.

The mood is nice. Kinda like Moroder or possibly mellow Yanni and Vangelis without the brass. The 3200 possessed a larger palette of tones, but I can where this was about the Italian countryside. At some point, they will make synths for instrumentalists again. Currently, it is all auto pilot Tritons and Motifs. Kudos for Gaetano and his artistry.
