I have to come back and listen to this (again and again) because as I have said 11 months ago, I have never heard anything else so beautiful and more touching to the heart as she sings. She truly melts my heart!
Deanna's voice is so beautiful and she is such a sweet and lovely personality on film ( and most likely in real life too! ). This song is one of my favorites and here especially she demonstrates how well of an emotional range as an actress and singer she had. Just her eyes alone can say volumes.
I have never seen and heard a more touching and emotional scene in any other films, especially with the most wonderful voice of Deanna Durban lifting my soul to levels so few can reach.. She is a miracle!
Deanna and my oh Kay Francis my favourite ..she was in real live of coloured skind because of bantu american ascendent but palmolive Avon,Lavinia,Tocalon and Hollywood lights give us a blank seductive presence
I love Deanna Durbin and I love the pacing of this one. It gives the listener a chance to really experience the rapture and message of what is being sung, Bravura, Diva Deanna!
So bearutiful, both the sound and the visual; and can there ever be a better sentiment? Thank you violinthief.

I believe it is - It's A Date from 1940. I remember watching it when I was much younger but I really can't remember much about the movie now.
