mesmerizing! is this how fluids are simulated? I guess a fluid's surface could be modeled with springs like this, except that it would need to be able to create/absorb pieces of itself
no thats how springs and solid objects are rendered ;). water physics jsut looks at a partical decides where its going and what forces (gravity tension movement) are acting on it. though 90% of hte programs you find are "not complete ill release later" and they abandon it and you get stuck with a video of what oyu still couldve sued...
Thats principle very easy to code.. Its like "hold Points on the right distance to each other".. But the physix of these bullets are much more difficult than those "Connected Points"
its definatly quite easy to code.. i ve already done that. as i said the bullet is more difficult to code because of its rotations, the nonlinear mass distribution and of course much more complex collision detection(unregular shape)
what programme do you use?

possibly make it so the springs could brake.
Then you would get better results from the bullet.

Accualy i think its the other way around. The bullet looked easy to make. But the jellos are "masses" look so difficult and time consuming!

the phrase "easier said than done" springs to mind

Those simulations were maid with the "Interactive Physics" software.
