this is my all time fave film. my nan was called ethel and i can tell you she was just like her . we used to watch this together . sadly she left us all 2 years, so love and peace to you darling.
I've got the restored version of this film and I've got to say I prefer the older more faded un-restored version. I missed out on buying it at HMV for just £3. On the restored version that I have the colour tends to fade in and out alot. Some people have complained that the sound is out of synch too...although the sound on my DVD is O.K. Overall I don't think that they really did a good restoration job on this film.
