Okay its amazing that Lana got away with that considering that she's spying on someone with super hearing who could easily hear a third person in the room. Well he has to tune in but the simple fact that Chloe was happened to get locked in the wine cellar which had to be locked with a key. Clark was holding he must've noticed the lock on it, should've been enough to make Clark suspicious.

Chloe tells Clark the door locked and everybody's okay with it? I would be like who could've locked the door. Ummm...let me see lana told me to come get wine and then all of a sudden the door shut behind me. Who could've closed the door? LANA! Also which idiot would not spot a shadow behind those glass bottles. I've been to a wine cellar and its easy to see shadows especially if one such as Lana is creeping to and fro. Logic People....LOGIC!

@Suuuuumaaa Lana became the opposite of Clark as the series went on...didn't you watch? That's why they did Lexana because Lana's personality gradually changed over time and she was better suited for him. This is why Clark didn't recognize who Lana was anymore in season 7.

With Lois he knows who she is. She never changed.He loves her for her flaws and everything about her.

@Suuuuumaaa No it's why he didn't reverse time to the point in time where he could have prevented Lex from planting those bombs so he and Lana could be together. Why didn't he do that? also when he got a piece of blue kryptonite from Alia, why didn't he use it to be with Lana? Let's see you answer these and then we'll talk!

haha I'd say the reason he didn't do anything like that because KK didn't want to act on smallville anymore. It really had nothing to do with the storyline.

@sanjor8r lois was never explored, she was the clown of the show & WHEN THE LEAD LADY left the building, she was ALL OF THE SUDDEN there,heck even Clark didnt notice until everything & character pushed him to her,,, as for her not changing, let her go through HALF the things that Lana went through then we'll talk!let her DIE or marry a MONSTER who abused her body, let her be tortured like Brainiac done with LANA, let her see her beloved KISS and almost sleep with someone else then we will talk!

@Suuuuumaaa because almiles were so freaking obsessed with kristin kreuk they kept her character on the show way past her relevance. That's the only reason. Lana Lang is a part of Clark's past and Lois is the love of his life. Lana had no relevance on this show besides asking about clark's secret every 2 minutes.

I love how they missed out the superspeed effect in this scene. It is seen twice in the episode from different perspectives. The first time he blurs away at superspeed. The second time he just dissapears and there's a gust of wind.

@JeremyGSU Actually, a blur is what people see. Along with the whooshing sound. That's how he gets his name "The Blur". SFX and CGI guys forgot, or maybe budget was too low

this is very interesting chloe has high expectation of clark because he's a hero with unparallel courage but when it come to lana that courage dissappear.but chloe doesnt realize why clark neva told cuz all the events that happen in the previous seasons plus the burden of keeping his secret

this really upsets me. though, i think the fact that he doesn't tell Lana because he doesn't believe that she'll take it well shows that in a way he knew deep down she wasn't the one because if he really had he would not have hesitated for a second. however, there are those other episodes in earlier seasons where he tells her and then doesn't tell her and yatyatayata and it gets so annoying your brain explodes but still. it could have ended well. even if just for a brief moment.
