  • someone told me why do you listen to punk and why do you dress like a street dog...i told the bitch politely "the way i dress is how IM comfortable with and not what someone else wants me to and i listen to punk music because it sounds fuckin amazing to me and helps me forget the shit i gotta deal with everday....so then she called me an emo(thats when i got really mad and told the bitch that if she truely thinks that of me then i hope she likes her small ignorant life...PEACE BITCH:)

  • @KittenDoll218 wow, you sound like a total non-conformist! Good for you!

  • @zosothedestroyer well its like fuck dude....i cant even walk through my school without someone saying shit and i know ppl are always gonna talk but there is just so much a person can take you know? i never stated myself to being ANYTHING but myself.....why do i have to label myself to fit into a genre, so someone can figure me out just by wat i call myself.....i swear sometimes i just wanna be six feet under than hear someones psychobabble bullshit about wat they think i am.....

  • told my friend who just got a street bike *Live Fast Die Young* later that day he crashed and died :( song reminds me of him

  • Live fast, DIE YOUNG! ...and the rest of us can just post comments on youtube

  • i thought i liked punk, this just blows

  • @CheesekasterT1 your crazy.

  • everyone here but me is gay

  • @MacetazzOpina well, darby crash certainly was.

  • @MacetazzOpina you're right. i am gay

  • anyone else notice that this is the exact same riff as cyco vision by the suicidal tendencies

  • Punk is what the fuck you want it to be. Fuck opinions the fact is punk is standing up for what you believe in even if people find it offensive. Punk is for rebellion against the mainstream. Green Day is too mainstream now to be called punk. They once were in the earlier days but now they are pop-punk, a mutilation of punk rock. I am sorry but either way if you don't think they're punk or think they are they have decent. If you don't like the Circle Jerks or Green Day don't criticize the others.

  • Opinions are like butt holes... everyone has one... and they all stink

  • Why does everyone hate on Green Day? Punk is punk, get the fuck over it.

  • i hated how i typed in live fast and die young and i got fuckin rick ross /:

    mainstream rap sucks!

    long live old skool punk!

  • who cares who listens to what? is that what freedom is? does it offend you to let others choose their own shit?

  • genre's are for suit and tie assholes. Its good music.

  • @theH0UNDSofD00M It's 2011; hardcore (2nd wave) is old school punk rock.

  • fuck you youtube you're practically a communist

  • the new youtube is ubergay!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thumbs uppppp!!!!!

  • the version of the devotchkas is also very good

  • the only thing better than the videos on youtube are the ignorant comments poeple leave on them. makes me laugh everytime

  • this is not the cirlcle jerks... this is dead kennedys...!!!

  • @flowerswillgrow it is the jerks man, sorry if you were joking, but its the jerks

  • @flowerswillgrow the dead Kennedys would never sing like this, its definitely Keith Morris voice

  • GO ALL OUT!!!! GET SOME MORE!!!

  • HELL YEAH I prefer this to Dr Susse on crack with a track loop these Rappers stole from someone else and ryhme everything with YO, or IGGA

  • Justin Beiber is way better. Thumbs up if you understand sarcasm.

  • It's funny hearing this song after I just listened to an NPR article about how the drummer of the Circle Jerks is now over the age of 35 and working as a tax accountant. Live Fast, Die Young indeed.

  • Wow haven't heard this in a long time!

  • The two highest rated comments on this song are both talking about rap.

How about commenting on HOW FUCKING AWESOME THIS SONG IS....

    fucking stupid

  • rap and hip hop are shit!

  • They remind me, the brutality of Black Flag and the energy of Angry Samoans. Awesome!!!

  • PERFECTION PERFECTION PERFECTION . . .

  • that nuke is so beautiful

  • who would like to live in this society? with these fucking idiots nowdays....all lies, posers, corrupted hearts....

  • Does he say noone else gets divorced?

  • @Bigscho69 LOL. he said, "go on out, get divorced." its the next part that i could never understand.

  • solo sounds kinda like guns by d.i.....

  • this was originally Red Cross - Cover Band with Greg Hetson on guitar (he wrote it). both good!!!!!

  • @TheOneAndOnlyRuth. I agree with absolutely everything...except for the Beastie Boys.

  • I wanna get this, Live Fast Die Yound, tattooed on me somewhere. but i think it'd look pretty dumb if i had it and was like 60+ haha.

  • LIVE FAST, DIE YOUNG.

  • And now Green Day is on Broadway! Trenchant!

  • Saw the Jerks live, I miss those days. Too bad I didn't die young! lol Great vid, thanks for uploading!

  • fucking awesomeeee

  • nothing like early punk music with nuclear test stock footage!

  • quality shit still sounds as good now, used to skate to this in the 80's ,good memories !

  • @BBoyBiff Well.....You certainly got ONE word right in your summary of this somewhat raucous noise......lol. Each to their own buddy. Personally, I prefer the more melodious sounds of Des O,Connor. Or, the gaily tinkling on the "ivories" of the much lamented, shirt lifting, sequined clad, Liberace......

  • I don't get it, this is a circle jerks song

where the hell did a green day debate start from?

  • @potol5678

i have no idea but Green day covers like every song! lmao

  • Well, some little bitch probably said something stupid like "I don't like hardcore, Green Day is my kinda punk," and somebody corrected him by politely saying, "Shove it down your throat with my cum, you little poser fag." And, you know how Youtube gets, everyone has to throw in their own fucking opinion, and before long, it's a gangrape of that one faggy dude in tight pants listening to Dookie by himself, jacking off to Billy Joe Armstrong's voice.

    Essentially, that's what happened.

    PEACE!

  • Well Put.... But Since Everybody is Entitled To Their Own Usless Opinion...i think i gotta right to say this.

Sorry But Greenday Sucks Monkey Balls.

  • @mussman717word Hahaha, love this...I totally picture it happening that way...I hate Greenday...yuck!!!

  • @mussman717word sounds like you have some gay issues to figure out. make sure you're all the way out of the closet before you start judging everyone else.

  • @davidholmes282

And, you sound like Billy Joe Armstrong's personal buttsniffer. Nice to meet you, too.

  • @mussman717word do you have something against Green Day? they're just as good as anybody else. and you're one of those people that has to put in their thoughts on every youtube video. just because you don't like Green Day doesn't mean that someone else shouldn't.

  • @radness13

    You're hillarious.

  • @mussman717word What's hilarious about having an opinion?

  • @radness13

Opinions lie, go by fact instead.

  • @mussman717word you are such a hypocrite, you say not to use opinions, but your top rated comment is based on opinion...

  • @546Headbanger

That's not an opinion, that's an educated guess.

  • @mussman717word educated? LOL, a true punker wouldn't care wat kind of clothes or punk that another person perfers... unless you're not goin for bein a true punker

  • @546Headbanger

I never said I cared, just making a hunch based on past experience. Say, why are you being all douchey about this?

  • @mussman717word me? LOL im just confused why you have no respect to a persopn who listens to Green Day, i listen to both, im not going to insult a person because they listen to a dif subgenre than me, im also a metalhead, im not into death metal, i don't go insulting death metal people and saying they do stuff that they definately don't do, if that was wat an "educated" guess is, you should pay more attention in school.

  • @mussman717word i think i love you. hahaha

  • @mussman717word exactly....everyones opinion turns into gang rape ....

  • @mussman717word HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! HUH!!!! Well said!!!

  • @mussman717word which isthe point of punk music. for the outcasts.

  • @mussman717word groupsex*

  • Anyone looking for this or any cd,movie, video game call 716-804-6478.Leave a message.

  • I turn 34 on Saturday. I sure hope I make it another week. Fun song though. An old friend of mine was the vocals in a band that opened for these guys back in the 80s.

  • Is it weird that I has this album as a little kid?

  • @nataliexundead no...it's rad.

  • cheers to good friends and dead frogs.. RIP

  • pennywise slammed on their cover of this epic, classic anthem. started off w/ Dont Care. I remember this tape, the songs were so short - the whole album took up only one side of the tape. So they put it on both sides. :-)

  • hell yeah nothing like old school punk rock every one now is a bunch of fucken sellouts

  • @panchokiller This is hardcore, not old school punk rock, sorry to be picky!

  • @ the real i agree.Tom petty the last DJ was written for Jim Ladd Dj for 95.5 KLOS.. in socal. Honestly music today just sucks..too poppy and money hungry..the classics are where it's at! Long live OLD SKOOL! An FUCK the jonas brothers..and all that disney shit!!! I think walt is doing 360s in his grave..GD can no tbe compared to Nirvana..not by far..their music will live on forever!

  • Possibly my favorite track of all time. Skating to this track is wicked!

  • This song is sick!

  • btw, the biggest reason music sucks now is that music critics have no power through radio anymore. Like Tom Petty said - there goes the last DJ. However, things are stuck so underground right now that something good should show up. Noone's going back to boy bands - The Jonas Brothers are a flop. People are tired of the rap cliche. More bands, more instruments means good shit will show up. I've seen some cool stuff live lately.

  • i agree. i really hope kids coming up with something new cause its a bout damn time!!

  • By style, and timing in history, GD was an alternative, grunge band. More in common with Nirvana than any punks. Nirvana had more true punk influence than GD. Grunge was wide open, just like punk included bands from XTC to Siouxsie to Killing Joke. I just dont know how BIlly Assfuck looks in the mirror and thinks "i'm a punk rocker'. He could've released a punk record by now, but he always has to play ballad boy. The 10% of his songs that qualify as 'punk' are unoriginal filler. Yuk.

  • ive never even listened to circle jerks before but i heard this song on rob and big and i was looking it up and i thought to myself circle jerks and sure enough they sing it.

  • didnt gg allin do this song to?

  • 0:57 Whats that?

  • punk up ur ass

  • go suck a dick

  • huh?

  • LOL you just don't know what anger is... you gonna understand it when you grow up.. don't worry.

  • And yes, with a name like notoriousvandal, you must be the "shizzle", right?

  • Rap has turned into complete bullshit when it hit 21st century, oh wait most music did dident it? Well whatever, This is my favourite circle jerks song, gets me skating

  • fuck ya

  • @HCadrenaline And this not bs? It's a reason why rap is bullshit. Those who run the record companies is pushing rap out for blacks to kil themselves. Your white brothers run the record companies. LIVE FAST DIE YOUNG??? THat the devil talking!!

  • @HCadrenaline cause its all about the money now bra :(... but theres alot of good shit out there you just gotta know where to look

  • @HCadrenaline

You also need to stop being ignorant. Music did not turn shitty, you just lack the ability to find the good stuff. It's not even hard. There are a lot of talented artists out there putting out hundreds of good records a year. You cant listen to the same five shitty artists on the radio and say all music is bad. Search Tallest Man on Earth. The guy plays with passion. He's just one of many great artists you'll be able to find if you pull your head out of your ass.

  • @africanCanadian

I did sound a bit ignorant i'll admit,

I do find some good modern bands and artists every now and then but its just the radio stations/tvs/etc im talking about.

  • @HCadrenaline ...and that goes for you too buddy

  • @mlawren7

Not to sound like a prick or anything, I was replying to a comment that was saying that Rap is a terrible genre of music or something along those lines, Hip Hop and Punk Rock are quite similar genres and both share the same enemy,

Members from public enemy were fans of punk rock

and even the Bad Brains were fans of Hip-Hop

Ofcourse that isn't all of them

  • @HCadrenaline Even Beastie Boys started out as punk and then progressed to hip-hop/rap.

  • rap is soo played out i like the old stuff like nwa and beastie boys still, but come on how bad can a nigger be with this shit killin pimpin hustelin n so forth give it up CAUSE YOUR FIRED !!!your not a bad muther unless your killin people you ask a soldier whos job it is to kill and ther mental state is never the same after killing in combat so why do the rapers act like its the thing to do every day it bullshit

  • punk is to do what you want wher you want when u want it<3

  • kinda. what about the political values, and awareness raising lyrics

  • good song

  • rap sucks.rock n roll rules.and thats the end of it.

  • this is punk but rock n roll rules

  • underground punk from the early 80s was without a doubt the best punk music of any generation. The circle jerks have always been my favorite punk band. every time I saw them live they fucking tore it up. Check out Negative Approach from Detroit.

  • im 15 i used to like hip hop rap crap cause everyone else did i learned to look for great music and found it in ROCK N ROLL!!

  • yup rock is the best,i dont care if u like rock, punk rock.todays rock,80s rock, slow rock if u hate rap ure cool

  • rap n country is fuckin fucking R.E.T.A.R.T.E.D

  • Actually I like Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, Marty Robbins, etc.

And The Beastie Boys, Grand Master Flash and Run DMC are some good shit but I agree nearly ALL modern country and rap is pure garbage written to sell as many CD as possible to the mental midget MTV crowd.

  • I actually agree. I love old shit like Johnny Cash. And old school hip hop was the shit, like Run DMC and Beastie Boys. That was when it was a few guys got together to rap about whatever and it was good. Now it's about who's got more money, better cars, more bitches, who's shot more people... And it ain't even skillful rapping, 99% of the time. And it's stupid when gangsters whine about how dangerous the streets are, they made it that way for themselves. Dumbasses.

  • old school hip hop was DA SHIZZLE beacuse they had songs like THE MESSAGE and MY ADIDAS, staright out of comptom now they talk about is fucking bitches, sweet life and their own pleasures =/ that blows

  • @TheOneAndOnlyRuth you forgot about 40 oz's g

  • @TheOneAndOnlyRuth that is so true but i think its only in america tho

  • @TheOneAndOnlyRuth

Yeah I really do hear you, music use to be music, not a marketing scheme..

    But-

Well society sort of made a hierarchy when the rich profit off the poor, and that contributes to how dangerous the streets are

  • @TheOneAndOnlyRuth true that all started when that mtv bullshit started

  • @TheOneAndOnlyRuth Hes right !

    old rap : good

new "rap" : this is music ?!?

  • @BarrioPunkRock Yeah, it's amazing what passes for music nowadays!

  • @TheOneAndOnlyRuth i know

  • @TheOneAndOnlyRuth you were obviously raised in a wealthy white family.

  • @RunningP123456 White? As the Threat put it, Guilty of Being White. As for wealthy, i dunno, i'd say we get by ;)

But does it really matter? Should it take a wealthy white to realize hip hop these days and what it represents is retarded bullshit?

  • @TheOneAndOnlyRuth

Don't be ignorant. Just because you've only heard mainstream rap doesn't mean it's all like that. POS, Macklemore, Slug, etc. The list goes on and they're all people who speak the truth, no bullshit and they're far more talented than the fucking Beastie Boys.

  • @africanCanadian As with most music, i guess. The good stuff isn't often the stuff that gets a mention... Fair enough, i'll check those artists when i'm bothered enough.

But for now let's listen to the Circle Jerks.

  • @TheOneAndOnlyRuth why don't you and your thirty thumbs go talk rap under a rap video maybe?

  • @mlawren7 Sorry sweetheart, i didn't start the convo! But i would like to finish it. If you look at the comment below ya, it says "But for now let's listen to the Circle Jerks."

    Time to move on, hmmm?

  • @TheOneAndOnlyRuth

The Mad Conductor, check them out!

Don't forget, MC Chris, The Heiroglyphics, J-Live, MF Doom, and Slug.

I like the Kottonmouth Kings, and BLESTeNATION. Kottonmouth Kings members just started a new punk band called the X-Pistols, and Humble Gods and Authority Zero are on the Kottonmouth Kings' label, Subnoize, and they are all 3 really great bands.

  • @TheOneAndOnlyRuth I agree 100% with you man, the worst part is they say hard it is in the hood and how they are gangsta for life but as soon as the albums start selling they move to the fucking hamptons, or malibu!

  • circle jerks is great but you cant say that snoop dogg music is bad since hes one of the best rapers of the world and his music is great so dont come talk shit

  • theres a difference between "rappers" and "rapers".

    just letting you know.

  • yea im quite confused on how snoop dogg became a "raper"

  • I truly stand by my belief, this is the music that's saddly gone now. People start with her Snoop Dog and Daddy Yankee shit seriously. THIS is the good music

  • Yeah i agree with you.

All (most) teenagers have turned to hip hop shit

  • agreed.rock owns rap anyway.takes some talent to do this.anybody can make up a rhyme.

  • love this song

  • I fucking live my life by these lyrics

  • same

  • the metall haaa Fuck and who does not like to rock metal is not like the music you do not hear it ok? it's not like my commentary goes to hell

  • fuck you, I listen to punk cuz its good unlike the shit nowadays

  • i totally agree

there is no good music out nowadays

and i dont think there ever will be

  • I agree duude, All this new music is computerized and all that shit ... its all at the press of a button any retard can do that. What ever happened to music with actually instruments in and lyrics that ment summat ?!

  • you clearly know fuck all, there is so much good music currently

  • What the hell u on bout :S

What did i say , cuz i cant remember commenting on this , i dont even know what it is :S

  • Rock on bro...i totally agree with you

  • YOU OWN today's music is meant to be sold =(

  • there is a lot of good music in the undergrond man. but most of those of those artists will never be heard becuz of bullshit like the jonas brothers

  • most of the artist will never be heard of coz their underground

alot of punk is spread by self publishing and then marketing at low prices within local communitys and minoritys

if you live in a small town like me...this sux
