Well done. I learn something every time I watch one of your videos. We have looked at upgrading our house but every time we go look at something it is built with way less quality than I would like. I think we are going to stay where we are and upgrade interior features. Keep up the good work. Your site is awesome. Thanks...
@AReptileMan This was not a house I built. I just have access to it for this recent video series. The architect is a good one. This is just a classic case, in my opinion, of fitting the rooms to a SPACE instead of creating the right-sized rooms and then surrounding them with exterior walls. I do not build actively any more for customers. I build for myself and for my new online coaching courses.
@ATCRyderX It can be a massive headache for any number of reasons. Some unethical builders use change orders to soak up cost overruns and mistakes they made earlier in the job. You want to AVOID change orders. The builder on this job is top notch, honest and was smart enough to discuss this with the homeowner as soon as the errors was detected so costs could be held to a bare minimum.
I am glad that I saw this video and you are correct about tight spaces and I can see that while you was standing in the doorway.

Who drew up the plans?
Do you still build or just there for the videos?

And have someone who knows what they are doing review the plans BEFORE setting them in stone...

Wow that gives me a headache just thinking about that scenario. That sucks. Hope the owner has his finances in order!
