BUT at a price premium i do buy a load of cans of barqs or A&W from an online import store in the UK called cybercandy, (look it up) they also sell american cereals, twinkies, various choc bars and many things not sold in the UK.

But you are paying quiet a hefty premium for it though.

I don't know how old you are but I remember at least up until 15 years ago UK McDonald's had Root Beer on tap in their fast food outlets.

I was one of the few who ever ordered the stuff. People who tried mine complained it tasted like Pepsodent toothpaste!

Currently Waitrose supermarkets stock Bundaberg Australian Root Beer - which I heartily recommend. It is better tasting than most commercial US brands and all natural too. Still overpriced though...
