  • Tea is too strong, didn't leave the bag in long enough, that's the weirdest shaped teaspoon i have ever seen.....and you stir your tea the wrong way :)

  • stupid

  • lol its great how just because he named the vid 'how to make a BRITISH cup of tea' he gets nearly 20,000 views...nice!

  • LOL my cat always runs for the fridge whenever I open it!

  • Mn geta tripod! you made me spill my tea!!

  • You should learn about loose-leaf tea. The best cup of tea is made from loose-leaf tea (not bags), simmered for a few minutes in steaming hot water just off the boil. Stir the leaves a bit, then simply strain the tea through a tight-meshed strainer into a pot or even directly to a cup, and you've got a great cup of tea.

Kusmi Russian teas are my favorite, but there are many types of excellent loose leaf teas available - black, green, etc. But the important thing is USE LOOSE LEAF TEA!!!

  • Woah you like the sugar! Quality dunking biscuits ;)

  • u sad prick, get a life, buff tho xx

  • only EVER barrys. . . (irish)

  • yup rocky its true

  • you don't need sugar in tea

    flawless otherwise

  • Why stir it counter-clockwise?

  • 1/10 for the tea but 10/10 for the music!!!

  • woot woot! Britain!!! lol

  • If you put the milk in first the tea stays hotter for longer.

  • totally how I make my tea!

    and I'm an AMERICAN!

  • hehe yea i hate the people who put milk in first too

  • I LOVE TEA !!!

  • ~nice ick

  • lol i like how he uses a starbucks mug for cup of tea which he regards as so british.

  • thank you but i am not retarded

  • tea wight no sugar please

  • You are very cool.

  • uh what. way to make a stereotype of us all by making a 5 minute video on how to make a "proper" version on what is essentially a teabag, water and milk. everyone knows how to make a cuppa and im failing to see the point in this, even if its attempting to be funny.

  • My canadian friend is extremely confused by the idea of putting milk into tea, so it appears not all of the world 'knows how to'

  • ah the classic "my friend" argument. to be honest i really dont care and if you're concentrating on that part of my comment, you're severely missing the point

  • Legend.. lol.

  • Tetley is the best of british tea!

  • i like m&s tea

  • I can't believe 23 people have favourited this.

    ?????!

  • you deserve to die

  • nice 1 ;)

  • Where are the McVitties, scones and clotted creme, marmalade, and jams? Where are the tea towels?

  • if it takes you 5minutes to make a cup of tea, you might want to rethink which drink to make

  • You need to let it brew.

  • bad attempt of trying to copy martgoose, LOOSER

  • He is not a loser. Jeez.

  • I think I have motion sickness...

  • your not funny , give up.

  • Oh so many mistakes - no pot, a coffee mug instead of a cup, I could go on. Historically milk was originally added not because our cups were crap, it's because our china was so super fine the heat would crack them.

Shame on you - teaching those Americans how to make working class tea.

  • is it at all possible for you to be any more pretentious about our nationality and our archaic class system?

  • yorkshire tea is british id say

  • Oh dear... tea in a coffee cup shame on you

  • i leae the tea bag in for 2 or more minutes to brew but you do it like i do :). I have 2 or more cups a day....i love tea.

  • 2 is nothing -.- i have bout 8 at LEAST a day

  • wow lol, still not as much as my uncle, my uncle has about 30 - 40 cups a day. he doesn't have a job because he is not in a good physical condition that is why he has time to drink that much :)

  • lolol that can't possibly be good for you...

  • lol i know

  • If he has sugar then that can't be good for him!

  • i know lmao

  • My day is never complete without a good ol' cuppa.

  • STOP STOP STOP lol What the smeg dude

real bristh tea DOSE NOT HAVE SUGAR in it that is just sick.Second thing you didnt use a teaport so you didnt make a british cup of tea did u. The only thing you got right was the PG TIPS lol.

  • if I were him I use loose leaf, most tea bags contain, what's called tea dust, and isn't very nice.

  • Tetley! Jammey dodgers! End of.

  • more sugar??? feck waddabout no sugar

  • It's all a matter of taste, jackass.

  • its all a matter of diabetes..

    no need for name calling..

  • lol but i hav 2 agree it does mak it betta

  • You wanna try havin a fox's classic with it propper sexy :)

  • brit tea the best! :)

  • if that's a proper british cuppa tea then why is it in a starbucks mug??? Starbucks is a big american company-trying to take over the world of tea-us tea lovera won't let them am I right? Stand up for tea's rights don't let starbucks get in the way!!! tetley for life!!! (although I wouldn't say no to a tall mocha frappuccino...)

  • I haven't the patience to watch this to the end..I think I'll go and make a cup of tea! ;-)

  • wtf u dont put sugar ina cup of tea u put salt ffs and u dont use tea bags u use coffee beans (niggers)ahh the joy of niggers makin coffee beans and tea bags

  • gay

  • Not to be supercillious but Earl Greay isn't a branc as opposed to PG Tips. PG Tips is ceylon black tea. Earl Grey is black tea with bergamot. I'm a tea buff I know...

  • always milk first

  • i dident know thats why we add milk o.o+ but umm i rlly dont know why i seartched in "how to make a cup of tea"

  • HAHA me neither !

  • omg u have my name ^^ score one for allan

  • shame on you all for arguing over tea.

  • Shame on you for picking your nose when making a lovely cup of tea! Wash your hands and then maybe I will join you luv ;(

  • hob nobs ftw

  • what a joker.

  • NO No No!I'm an American and you MUST use a tea pot to make it a proper tea!Where is your brown Betty~your tea strainer~ your loose tea? Yes, we get those very same cookies in America. I just bought the very same ones that you have just yesterday. Isn't that cup called a beaker? you're cute!

  • i drink more coffe then tea pip pip im american pip pip

  • lol u got the same kettle as me XD

  • I make Welsh tea we have soft water in these parts ... mmm soft tea ....

  • look mate, its not properly english unless you have chocolate biscuits

  • that's the tune that they used to play in the co-op lol

  • that guy looks like jack black from tenatious d lol

  • what tune is that

  • lmao, i cant believe people are correcting this guy on making a cup of tea and the fact of correcting him on a mug when he said cup. sheeeshh

  • cows tittie juices with tea sounds like a bad idea to me man thats just wrong

  • I think I once saw Orson Welles presenting a short film on how to make a cup of tea. I could be mistaken.. but as I recall it, he was in a mock up of a trench in WWI and his method went a bit like this

    - Boil Fresh Water

    - Warm Teapot

    - Add boiling water to Teapot

    - Add tea (one bag/spoon if loose per cup)

    - Leave for one minute

    - Pour into cup

    - Add sugar to taste before adding milk so the sugar dissolves more ceompletely before the tea is cooled by the milk

    - Add milk to taste

    - Drink

  • oooooooooooh ya cant beat a good cuppa! especially in the mornin after a night out ooooooooh suit you sir!

  • Not being stuck up but you did it the wrong way. Why did you add your sugar while the tea bag is still in there? The bag will absorb some of your expensive sugar before you throw it away; it's like throwing away money. I'm an American and even I knew that. Also I didn't like how you put too much hot water in there. I always keep more space below the rim of the cup so tea is less likely to spill out making a mess in the apartment. It's like keeping a space cushion in front of your car.

  • wow that is A LOT of sugar

  • i though that too, but it's a fairly big cup too.

  • mong

  • Good grief, I thought the Brits would preserve the custom of loose tea in the pot. I get my tea from Upton Tea imports, all loose and single estate. Instead of milk I've gone to half & half. Bags? I shudder.

  • That's a mug, not a cup....although a fairly good cup of tea there. (Despite the lack of Earl Grey!)

  • I'm American and I'll have you know that I do not buy the giant jugs of milk. I never buy more than 4 pints (erm, 2 quarts) of milk... to use in my tea, of course! ;o)

  • do british people really prefer tea?

the way coffee is to americans but how a smaller portion prefers tea?

maybe majority of them like tea and a few like coffee?

    hmm

i prefer tea but tasty green teas, for some reason i imagine british tea to be bland but maybe strong

also like most americans drink regular coffee even though flavored is tasty

Coffee is to USA as Tea is to UK?

  • A nice, strong cup of Tetley or PG Tips tea, with 1 and a half sugars to be precise, is just perfect for most English. Now coffee in my opinion, is mainly only good for giving you a pickup!

  • cool

    thanks

  • u know, ur video is boring!!!

  • starbucks fascist

  • pg mother fukin tips!!!!!! :)

  • yeah i have pg tips and 2 sugers!

  • Oh yeah, As strong as treacle and 1-2 sugars for my sweet tooth = perfect'!

God, I'm so rock n' roll!

  • i love it. i wish you could make me a proper cup every afternoon.

  • damn, that looked delicious.

  • dont be so pretentious, a cup of brittish tea has to be enjoyed with the aid of an english breakfast tea bag, the twinnings variety are quite apt, and rich tea are not as good as digestive's, thats the real money winner, as for the production dan i thought it was very good!!! i will endeavour to do my own now so watch out, everybody visit my channel for the video coming soon

  • hobnobs are great!

  • fantastic you cant beat a cuppa i like mine with a little milk and one teaspoon of suger. i also enjoy a hobnob or two.

  • I always have 2 sugars!

  • I dare say tea and biscuts are a splendid combination! I love it althougth i dare say u should of added a little sugar to take away from the bitterness. other then that it was quite fantastic!

  • tea is awesome. but i like coffe a bit better!

  • Keeping the great in Britain....your teachin methods leave a bit to be desired however.....my nan used a teapot tea leaves and strainer back in the day!...by the way the lawsuit from starbucks is in the post you Dick Turpin ye!

  • dude! you should be on foodnetwork!

  • I'd always add the sugar after the milk, cause if you put it in while the bags in the cup, the bag absorbs some of the sugar...plus...where were the pyramid bags?

But still, british and love tea...want tea now in fact...

  • Don't be dissin' Earl Grey! I love the stuff heh.

  • ur supposed to put the sugar in after u take out the tea bag!! i dnt understand y people do it before!!!!!AH

  • I LOVE TEA.

  • I'm british and I hate tea!! Coffee coffee coffee.

  • Everybody has their own tastes lol. I liked that video. Typical Brit like myself :)

  • True British cup of tea:

Tea pot! Loose-leaf (proper) tea. Leave to brew, preferably with a 'comedy' tea-cosy (with an 's').

Milk goes in the cup first, to preserve English fine-china (not shit, a sign of quality), sugar last.

Your cup of tea is FAR too WEAK!

  • Rich Tea HELL YEAH, best biscuit to be associatted with tea ever. ps too much milk & sugar for my liking but each to his own

  • I say, jolly good old bean!!! :D
