THis whole album is fucking great, side B is COMPETELY overlooked even by the band. Songs like the Rock Rolls On, and MANTRONIC are what I would call average W.A.S.P. songs, but compared to other artists of the day (all the way through now) this stuff really stands the test of time. W.A.S.P., Crue, and of course Van Halen were the best things to come out of that whole scene until Guns showed up later on.  I'll give it up to LA guns and Circus of Power too (NYC!) and maybe the Cult.

In 1989 I saw L.A Guns and went backstage after the show. I almost got in a fight with Philip Lewis and Tracy Guns, those guys are the biggest fuckin punks I ever met. Absolute dickheads. But Steve Riley was the most down to earth musician I ever met. Totally cool. Guns did'nt deserve him. Steve, if you ever read this, thanks for taking the time. Here's the deal, Blackie Lawless alone influenced that Hollywood scene more than any other musician in the eighties. He's been around a hell of alot longer than all the other bands of that era. Sad that he doesn't get credit for that. WASP will always be one of the greatest bands ever to come out of California, bar none!!!
