just annoys me when us motocross riders pay upto 6000 on a bike then we have all our local tracks closed down because people are mistreating it like wheeling up and down roads near the track with now helmets or any protective gear on eg: shorts and t shirts thinking there gangster and now we have to pay 30 -50 to go to a track 70 -100 miles away just to ride our bike that we have worked for

i ride my motor cross bike we have somewhere legal yet we still have police bothering us because of complaints about the noise. maybe you should get lands and tracks that people can use witch will help keep kids off the streets and help cut crime ect. in stead of making our lives hell and hastling us try working with us. 99% of riders arent bad people just enjoy our bikes and having a good time and meeting other people. you would find the public would work with you more if you worked with us.

well i see it this way would you rather have kids home bored or out rioting or give them something constructive to do why take their bikes when all they are trying to do is have a lil fun? at least if you take them they shouldn't be crushed. what if you were a kid bored with nothing to do and you had one pass time but some mean person took it and crushed it. i find this a from of bullying. and i say if u want to keep them off the streets i think that you should provide a safe place to ride.

Just because someone is breaking the law it does not give police any right to break the same laws themselves in attempting to catch the offender.There is no need to chase anyone when you have surveillance and a police helicopter at your disposal.Chasing these offenders and breaking the laws you are attempting to enforce put the public at even more risk.The fault lies with the irresponsible parents who buy these things for their kids to use on the street or in the park.

from 0:00 to 0:30 was not a minibike that was by the sound of it a cr 250 which is taller than most teenagers and that would EAT those DR400's the police are using,and their squad cars for breakfast, I beg of you to give people a proper place to ride ! I have been riding bikes since i was very young and its my hobby and my life why try and take that away from people? have some leniency please and start focusing on crime that matters. Such as burglary, street thugs, assault, drug dealers etc.

@dogwafter Why don't you approach a landowner and ask if you can use some of his land? I grew up on trailbikes and enduros, and in my youth was guilty of riding them on waste ground, and now feel bad for the annoyance it probably caused people. I now live next to a Forestry Commission inclosure, and our lives throughout the year are blighted by (often stolen) 2stroke MX bikes at full throttle just 100 feet from our garden. It's illegal, and a pain in the backside to the whole neighbourhood.

I don't know why you police bother with trying to catch people on these bikes, its a waste of time, you should focus on stopping drugs, theft etc.. If people get hurt using the bikes or they're riding on the road then only stop them its their own fault, but don't take it out on the rest of us.

i think the police are referring to all bikes not road legal,mini moto's are highlighted because of the increase of idiots using them irresponsibly on the paths and streets when they became available for as little as £40 new.As i believe it went to parliment and they brought in that all "nuisance" riders bikes will be ceased and crushed.Unfortunatly that means all bikes when ridden on public or even private land,without the owners permission,fall into that category (correct me if im wrong).

the reason they are ridden on the roads/waste lands ect is that all the bike tracks are shut down. we used to have a track we could ride on over the road from a school but then it got shut down becuase it was a hazzard (i don't know how as it was fenced up ) and now they complain why there ridden on the road stop shutting down tracks , give these youngsters somewhere to ride!.

Why are you showing footage of a Honda CR 250 motocrosser while talking about mini motos? That is so typical of police to stereotype all dirtbikes as illegal, anti-social etc. There is a friendly community of off-road riders, the reason you get kids riding illegally is because the council close tracks and commonland which would could be perfect for kids to ride without disturbing anyone. I think the police should spread awareness about safety gear and places to ride legally, not crush bikes.

Isn't it ironic how the police are aloud to drive their motorbikes on the area's where general public aren't. This video is evidence of the police breaking the law!! just like when you see a police vehicle skip passed traffic and go through red lights. i dont see the problem with riding mini motos off road. my mini dirtbike is smaller than a bmx, they can ride through shopping centres and car parks getting in peoples way but i cant ride my mini dirtbike in a field with no one around. no wonder these teenagers are rioting you close youth centres, confiscate bikes and persecute them for wearing a hood.

I dont know about Wolverhampton but here in Australia any mini bike 49cc or under dose not have to be registered. The rules become the same as a push bike as long as you are wearing a helmet. Anotherway to think of it at least the kids arnt running a muck rather having some real kid fun on a bike. I garantee nothing would be done if those same people were riding a push bike you would say nothing. I think people just dont like the noise. GET OVER IT.

Instead of crushing them, speak to the council and find a piece of land that can be set aside for a weekly mini moto club. I am sure there would be fathers that would volunteer (I would have done when my lad was younger) to supervise kids. This will give kids something to do and keep them out of trouble. It would also allow the police to liaise with these kids so they will have some respect for the police instead of seeing you as bad guys.

If these youngsters know that the police will take and destroy their bike either way, what is the incentive to stop and talk to the police instead of bolting and being injured or killed in the chase? If caught riding on the road or pavement yes take the bike and prosecute, but if the person is riding off road on waste land on a non stolen machine and not causing a nuisance I dont agree! I am a father of a 15 year old lad, to help keep him occupied and teach him a thing or two about mechanics we have renovated two old kawasakis together and I taught him to ride, the only place to use the bikes are on wasteland near our home and I always supervise him wearing all of the protective gear.

i am a older off road rider,the so called ILLEGAL rider by the police,i think the situation needs looking at when they arrive are you riding properly and looking after the area your in or riding a twoc "taken without owners consent",they shouldnt just dam ppl with off road bikes,the council should dedicate an area for ppl to ride in to divide riders from stealers its hard but we did it were i live,and also got news paper coverage, so what ever the law i will still keep on riding my 92 yz250
