Idk. Hopes and Fears just had great writing and rhythm and Under The Iron Sea talk about alot of stuff through great music but Perfect Symmetry I think suffers on the musical ability and some songs on this album aren't amazing on the ears unlike Hopes and Fears and Under The Iron Sea which every song on those albums are amazing showing off great innovation and musical ability.I think they became lazy on this record because we have heard great songs from them in the past but not many on this one.

I love how this song *almost* sounds like it's not to be taken seriously, with it's cosmic-synth notes and bizarrely oriental banjo,but that's what makes it so excuisite.

The song is brilliant by the simple nature of it's deceptively up-beat tune, which is in sharp contrast to it's sobering lyrics.

Anybody who's been spoon-fed nothing but Coldplay (with all due respect) for the last 10 yrs. really needs to hear this song.

As soon as I first heard this a couple of times I knew it was a grower and I think it is absolute class. I'm NOT a huge Keane fan, I do like them, just prefer other bands but I gave this album a chance and I am very glad I did. This song works on a lot of levels, sounds like depression in the lyrics to me, but the lyrics are very powerful if you've had a tough time and the song is so catchy as well. I have to congratulate them on this album I know Tom has had his problems.
