it's because the wave burner is gas powered. meaning it'll spray boiling water which hurt's.

Ever heard of Boss Dissonance? It's what happens when the levels are a LOT harder than the bosses (like in most Mario games) or the bosses are a LOT harder than the levels (like in most Kirby games.) In this game, we have Kirby-type Boss Dissonance when you play as Bass, and Mario-type Boss Dissonance when you play as Mega Man. Heh.

Actually the GBA is an amazing handheld, and the music kicks ass too ( its still different from the original GB, you cant compare an 8 bit handheld with a 32 handheld in terms of soundchips Clement T.T ), but the GBA port of MM&B isnt as half as good as the original on the SNES...

i actually prefer the game as megaman because i cant beat burner man with bass. never have, probably never will. i just think megaman is a better character because im so used to the whole cant shoot up cant double jump thing. pluss bass is very weak even with the super bass buster. and i like the challange the game gives me. i dun kno why, but on rare occations, i play games just for the frustration (it's why i play demon's souls O GOD that game is my X6 (in difficuly. not BS ness ))

If I am not wrong, when the water is low enough, you can shoot the wave burner outside of the water, which would mean that the red/green flame respectively would show up and it would do a hell lot of damage to pirate man if that's the case. Only catch is that, at what cost would we wait for the water to be low, and considering how pirate man would just restore the water level again almost promptly.

It's not so much the GBA's fault that this game sucks. Games that were made specifically for it don't suffer the same flaws. Capcom could have put some effort into tweaking the game to play better on this system.

i kinda like playing as megaman cause hes the main person in the game and i have played as him almost all the time so im quite used to him. But if they make an 8 bit version of this they should even out bass and megaman. And yes the bosses here (except for astroman and tenguman) were made by king
