I don't think it's humanly possible to lose with Link. When I play as him I never use the arrow or bomb since they leave Link open for attacks. =P

tri-band Soul Cal...Link was easily the most popular out of the 3 exclusives, and the Gamecube version sold the most copies compared to the PS2 and Xbox versions.

Namco certainly realize there's money to be made...I mean, the character "Tira" in Soul Calibur was largely based on Link.

Im pissed dat the soulcal for the wii is gona be an rpg and not a fighter like soulcal 4 for ps3. i wish they would stop bitchin wit nintendo cause there isnt any great franchise dat stayed wit nintendo from 3rd parties. nintendo doesnt have def jam icon, resident evil 5(heard its only 4 360 and ps3), and no soulcal 4! even thoug this pisses me the f*** off, i stay with nintendo cause of smash brawl, twilight princess, mario galaxy, and metroid 3. my bad if i'm replyin a little late. im pissed!

Dude i used 2 play tekken 5 all day back when my ps2 wasn't broken. i got tekken lord with king and christie(i used christie cause she was smokin' hot and king cause i luv wrestlin'). which game u like better tekken or soulcal, they both cool 2 me. do u have any tekken or soul vids uploaded? i would reply a bit sooner but youtube was undergoin' a few changes when i tried! aight peace!

I play Tekken way more than Soul Cal, so I like that a bit more.

I always face Tekken Lords or whichever is the highest ranked. I do it more for challenging, good matches, which is why I haven't reached Tekken Lord yet with Marduk my favorite. I keep coming so close though, like "Deity", and when I reach a "Promotion Chance" to get to Tekken Lord, I always end up losing lol.

yeah, i used 2 lose all da promotion chance matches too, hell i even got demoted a few times, but i did trainin mode and memorized all of kings grab combinations then dominated arcade mode. it got fun dat i played up 2 match 150. also after match 100 or sometin, i kept gettin tekken roulettes, i scored some big g's x10 a few times. before my ps2 died(which i wish it didn't)my marduk was a virtuoso or a deity. oh and do u like burnout games. burnout is another great title dat left nintendo >_<.

my ps2 got broken cause i..well..uh..got it frm a pawn shop for $75. i didnt have nuff $ to get a new one(lol). those fags carged me extra 4 a warranty. i was like u guys r retarded. bout a month later the ps2 got slow and eventually stoped workin.

Da burns 4 nintendo were 1 and 2 and were for gamecube. so u have #3, i have revenge but as u know i cant play it. do u konw about da new ones. theres dominator which is alredy out, its awesome, and theres 1 comin out later, burnout paradise.peace

You know what's sad? In Soul 3 the "new" characters added were Tira, a rip off of Link, she looks like him from afar with the green outfit, and Zasalamel, a black guy with a sickle like the Grim Reaper who transforms into Abyss, who resembles Spawn in design. And fans know that Spawn was a black assasin, and he became a grim repear anti-hero.

Exactly. Fuck Heihachi, he's already in Tekken so it was

a stupid choice to begin with. PS2 users like me already see his ass in the Tekken games, so wtf putting him in Soul too. U aint missing anything.

The "create-a-character" mode is limited, not the expansive

ones you see in wrestling games. To top it all off,

SC3 has a GLITCH that can corrupt your data (which

happened to me already).

The only improvement was slightly better graphics, everything else was the exact same as SC2.

Also sc3 would b ok without the glitches and stuff cause wen it came out there wasn't rele any other fighting game to play, i sure hope sc4 isn't fucked up, did u c ivy in the e3 trailer, i don't even know why they gave her a top.

What pisses me off is that it's the exact same shit, no innovation. Ever since the first Soul Calibur for the Dreamcast (which was groundbreaking), Namco just got lazy and said "fuck it let's just make every other sequel the exact same gameplay" which may sound good but we're talking about 1999 vs 2007 here. I expect SOME kind of evolution.

Nice music!! what's the name of the song? MMM the fight was kind slow. when i played Soul Calibur II my fighting style was very quick, with a friend our fights were always very fast. with many guard impacts dodges yadyadayada. now i have SCIII so SCII is kinda forgotten
