Then you have Couture who is a phenominal wrestler that has good boxing in and out of the clinch, occasional submisson offense and great cardio. 9 times out of 10 Couture takes this fight. Either by decision or by ground and pound TKO. Cro Cop has beaten wrestlers in the past, but one dimensional wrestlers like Randleman and Coleman. Couture is a different story.

Look at Jon Fitch's record and then tell me that dirty boxing doesn't work. It is the perfect style for Couture he is like 46 do you really expect him to stand and bang with anyone in the light heavy or heavyweight division? I suggest you look at the book titled Dirty Boxing by Matt Lindland and it may change your views about the martial art.

Couture had 28 fights and Cro Cop has 60. Las ttime I checked, the difference was 32. Quit making excuses for the guy with knee surgeries. Let's get this straight right now. You have Cro Cop who is a kickboxer that has decent takedown defense and submission defense. Then you have Couture who is a phenominal wrestler that has good boxing in and out of the clinch, occasional submisson offense and great cardio. 9 times out of 10 Couture takes this fight. Either by decision or by ground and pound TKO. Cro Cop has beaten wrestlers in the past, but one dimensional wrestlers like Randleman and Coleman. Couture is a different story.

Look at Jon Fitch's record and then tell me that dirty boxing doesn't work. It is the perfect style for Couture he is like 46 do you really expect him to stand and bang with anyone in the light heavy or heavyweight division? Randy gets my respect for being the smartest business man in the world. The UFC marketed this guy to have a whole fake "captain america" persona. Randys just smart in that he only fights a few times a year against big names. The UFC has gifted him title shot after title shot even though he didnt deserve it. He's an old, money hungry man who needs to let new fighters make their mark in the sport. How does he end up in a main event when he did nothing to vera and lost his 2 previous fights

I agree that he's gotten gift matches and that he's a UFC staff favorite, but he's delivered in his gift matches. Randy's done a lot of great things at an advanced age at 2 weight classes and has been very good for the sport.
He nor Coleman, although they're both legends, deserve to be a main event, but that's not Randy's fault or Mark's. That's the UFC and their PR department. If I was Randy, I'd be taking the big situations given to me, too. Anybody would.
