ought to add a weld a metal table on both sides of the splitter to catch the pieces so you don't have to pick them up again and again,thats what i did on mine and it saves time and a lot of bending over and picking up pieces that need to be resplit

What about putting the base of the arm and winch on a swivel? That way you won't bump your head on it.
