  • bull shit you just want to sell plans

  • Great machine, improvements can be made by he/she who wants, but great working :)

  • Who burns walnut anyway?

  • About how much of an investment is there in a splitter like yours?

    Thanks Ron

  • I`d put the splitter next to the wood pile to start with.

  • Where's the catch table?

  • 300 pounds on what planet? Not here. Way too slow if you rely on wood for 5 months in a row. And I pit a 360 degree hydraulic grapple arm on mine. And then built a 34 hp 4x4 splitter that I drive to my wood.

  • What about putting the base of the arm and winch on a swivel? That way you won't bump your head on it.

  • Way to slow, you would be all day splitting a small quantity.

  • sorry i did the winch thing 20 years ago still got it .

  • ought to add a weld a metal table on both sides of the splitter to catch the pieces so you don't have to pick them up again and again, thats what i did on mine and it saves time and a lot of bending over and picking up pieces that need to be resplit

  • too slow..... weekend splitter..

  • i agree!! way to slow
