Who says he was under arrest, for that matter? The snuck up on him, didn't have time to say much, and didn't cuff him, just dragged/choked. Being angry isn't illegal, btw. Nor is wearing a mask. Fact is that I don't think this protest represents my feelings or my views in it's execution, but in it's aim I'm all for it. Whereas the police in town were rather criminal at many times from what I've seen.

If he chose to threaten the police officer with threats, he broke the law. If he broke the law, then the police officer had the right to detain him. Your protesters became violent, so the officer had to do what was necessary for his safety and the safety of others.

(there are many reports that the only vandals were provocateurs) I do advocate freedom of speech and freedom of the press, two basic rights which have been trounced upon in the last week.
