Mellieha is about 20 minutes drive from Bugibba. It's possible to walk but will take you about 90 minutes. But, on your way, you'll see some very beautiful sceneries also.

Just returned three days ago. Fun seeing what we really enjoyed. Had no idea what to expect. AND learned in 7 days, Malta IS Malta ... beautiful and definitely "of interest."

Tell him merry xmas and he will know who I am. We will be back in the summer to drink all his Caqnu and eat his apple pies.Sahha u grazzi from some English friends.
i love malta its my second home! i've been going every year since i was 6 months old and i always stay in mallieha in the santa maria estate malta is so friendly we have loads of friends there i adore the country!!!!
would have been great, if you didn't have the MELLIEHA name cutting across , it's annoying, beautifull place anyway.

Recently sold a villa there...Lovely place.
If you want a nice meal, reasonably priced,.. try the "Hill Top" opposite the HSBC bank .

it is possible on foot...it takes about 1.5 -2hirs... depends how fit you are... 6-9km more or less
