I was watching this yesterday on a Vhs copy I have of the game. Now obviously as a Yankee fan we love it! Lol. But why was Buckner still in the game. He had no wheels as Joe Garagiola might've said. Everytime I hear Vin Scully's call on this play, the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Game 7 was postponed the next day due to rain, so the deciding game 7 was played on a Monday night. Poor old Bill!

It defense of Buckner: The pitcher for the Sox was horrible that game and the Sox coach stubbornly played Buckner who at that point of his career had no ankles to walk on. Yeah he added to the loss by getting the error but by no means whas is it entirely his fault.
