  • Very nicely done, what a wonderful experience you've treated us to. Thank you for posting this!

  • goood cave

  • The only thing they knew they could leave us about thier life(s)...

  • Life must have been great back then. No Lady Ga Ga.

  • I think that some of the bison at Altamira are more beautiful than those painted at Lacaux

Recently I read something by a professor at the University of Penn about the handprints left by the cave artists in France and Spain - (artists would place their hand on the wall, then spray paint over it, leaving the image of their hand) Studies have shown that many of these hands were female!

ummm...why the sound of running water?

  • Some of us still carry the my dna of these people, U5... hence we are their decendants. we are still around.. of course they had the same sized brains.. we are they......mtU5 35-40,000 yrs ago..

these are beautiful creations of of deeply spiritual people.

  • i thought it was interesting that when the artist's handprints in the caves in France and Spain where examined, they found that many belonged to females

  • @Dix994 thats in africa

  • @thoostorm4 spain is Africa?

  • Spain

  • Spain in in Europe!

  • Grüße aus der Oberlausitz!

  • Beautiful job, thanks for posting!

  • 3:01 reminds me of something i did in pre-school. All us kids would make handprints on the side walk just like those, and the teachers would too. So there would be all these little handprints and then two big ones for the teacher and her helper.....haha maybe something similar happened in these caves ;)

  • I have been to Altamira so interesting arts.

  • Muy interesante video!5*!!!!

  • Interesting and truly amazing. Favourited.

  • well to tell you the truth they were they had the same sized brains and so they werent dum like you would think, they were the smarty paints of that time period

  • I wonder what they used for pigments. They must be pretty durable to have survived for so long.

  • Ochre and iron oxide were among the pigments they used... pigments are permanent unless physically acted upon.

  • Thanks for the info. :)
