lol@ "do that again".... other than that it was dumb... also hints on gayness... I don't like the message its trying to tell but the man/woman/nun etc is funny thats all.
Anyone who thinks this parody is insulting needs to understand that it's a PARODY. This mocks pretty much all of Sally Field's films and does a pretty damn good job of it. Oh, and Annie Heller, you totally deserved that Kawanis Club Award. Brilliant.
lol i love how people say they were offended by the movie for example yashil here is offended. when sally was in that country, iran, she met a lot of nice people and a lot of bad people. every country is the same. theres the good and then theres the bad. u may not realize but this is a true story this movie. this really happened. there is no exaggeration in this movie. she met some wonderful men and women in iran. some were willing to lend a helping hand and other werent.
i disagree, im persian and i am offended by the movie "not without my daughter", because the movie is showing persians as barbarians. it was sort of like 300 in the past.
yes it does show us as barbairians like that part which the girl saws the guy holding a sheep trying to cut his head off, in iran ppl do do that but not in public and some ppl do it, and ur coment is prety stereotype.
omg are you muslim beucase ify ou are then why did you watch this movie? and the cutting the lamb thing does not show anyone as barbarian that just shows that diffrent places have diffrent customs you are the only one that i offended by that becuase i know alot of iraninan christians that were not offended by the lamb thing oh yeah and im not stereotypical yur just sensitive
i am not a muslim i am nothing i just belive in god. and you have to edmit that some parts of the movie does show iranians as bad people like the part that old man and that old women were running around with AK-47 (and by the way the weapon mostly used in the army right now is G4) , or the main story of a guy capturing an american and holding her in iran, which is true but the guy was probly a fucking mullah that was with the regime.
unfortunent to say ur comment was steoreotype because saying you can't trust muslims is stereotype, and why should i be sensetive of you saying something about muslims
Wasn't this presented on one of those "America's Funniest..." shows? Or is this a "copy-cat" of it?
