I buy here in Germany for 299,- Euro, its a nice Sound with 2 Fender FM65 and 2 Behringer FX600 Pedals.

Thats a nice Guitar.

@NtinoAndMaria yes- this is a special model with a "Gold anodized pickguard." The tone is slightly different to the other 50's Classic Vibe guitars which have standard plastic pickguards...

@itreanor the Epiphone Les Paul have humbucker and is heavyweight( the sound is bigger)

the scv is light an have singlecoils

@ralfcaetano No- the Olympic White Color does not turn yellow. They come out with relic'd (yellowed) pickup covers; Volume controls and Tone controls- which are the only parts that do turn yellow...

Is there any real difference other than the look between this and the 60s squier strat? I'm thinking of buying it or some classic and prog rock, blues and funk... And a bit of Pink Floyd :) Is it good for these types of music? I have a budget of about 350 and it seems to me this is the best choice... I'd appreciate an answer... Thanks!

@nemirkv the tone of the 60 CV is a little bigger (rosewoodneck) and have alnico 5 PU, the 50 CV have alnico 3 PU and the tone is higher then the 60 CV ..

Some guy was playin with one at our music store in abbotsord, prettymuch really liked its tone, and spent a lot of time playin with it...and only $350, little cheaper than a full scale real tele big brother.
