LOL. Durant is a great scorer, but in their respective primes, Manu is 10x the player and leader Durant is. Noway in hell Durant could a lead a soccer nation to the Gold against the American's. Although, if you were to check out any more Ginobili videos on youtube, you would find that Ginobili had a lot more game from the start. Pop knows best and that is why they have a handful of titles but if Ginobili started for all of those seasons he would have an NBA career scoring average nearly twice of what it is now.

A player doesn't ever just jump up and put his hand randomly in the air hoping the offensive player will release the ball at the same spot. I've heard nba announcers and ex nba superstars regard manu as the latin jordan. Maybe if you watched spurs games more often since he came into the league, you'd understand why you have a weak arguement.

They refer to him as the "Latin Jordan" b/c he is probably the biggest "star" bball player of Latin/Hispanic ethnicity not b/c he has Jordans' skills. BTW, I live in San Antonio and probably have played more bball than you have watched.

Maybe give durant a few more years of work and I'll swallow my words but as of now, manu cant be touched by KD. Time will tell if he becomes a better player than Manu, not you or I. Your arguement loses all credibilty when you try to mention Manu in the same breath as MJ. @RealZoo Well, athleticism in basketball is a major aspect. What makes Manu "manu" is his athleticism. That's why he is the player he is. Durant, although athletic, he is not even close to manu's skills and "athleticism". @RealZoo Furthermore, I really believe that youre just a spurs hater. Ive dealt with a few of you in my day. It's no biggie, just love the game and give props where they are due. As for you playing more B-ball than me, well not to toot my horn but when I was at UT austin, a coach saw me playing at the gym and encouraged me to try out for the team. He said I was good and had great potential but needed a lot of work in specific areas. Not bad huh. I just stuck to my degree plan though. God Bless!

honestly i think All Star games means nothing. Rings means all. And manu has already three of them in his pocket. And he was a key player in two of them. He joined the nba at the age of 26. Lebron and Carter (just to mention 2 players) joined the nba at the age of 19/20. They earned a lot of money but no rings at all for now. Lebron has now a real opportunity to show if he got what it takes TO WIN A RING. There are so many players really good but sometimes they just dont have wahat it takes.

I honestly love Manu because off all of the different things he can do. He can get assists when needed, he can get rebounds when needed, and he always plays defense. And obviously he can shoot/score, thats a given. Ginobili!!!!
