This is pretty darn good, I'm very impressed. Just an idea in case you decide to make this landing again... walk to the beach and record the plane flying over top from there... that's what all the tourists do and I'm sure the impact of a loud 747 on final approach 100 ft overhead would be massive!

The view you see by the pool and the one where the aircraft flies right over the beach are the Tower views. In FS9, you can freely move the tower view around.

I practice a lot. I follow realistic procedures and ironically, they make everything very very easy. I had to really pay attention on this approach as with one little mistake, I could have ended up in the water or slammed down on the beach. It was all visual and of course, the sircraft systems aided me in performing this landing. Default jets cannot help you as well on this type of approach.

I would recommend the PMDG 747 as it is newer and more systems are simulated.
