You can bet on that my friend.... believe me. The dispute will be soon over, and i would go as far as to say that even the disputes with Korea and China. And that's not all... i would say that they will push for decrease of US troops stationed in Japan. Which is all good thing! Im personally glad that this political change in Japan came sooner than i expected. Now i believe everything will get better soon.

This is the reason why the US was to be a democratic republic. A republic only so that a select few laws could not be voted in or out no matter who was in power. For example the right to free speech no matter how vile was protected.

This is no longer the case. A strict democracy is prone to losing rights through fear.  And they eventually become a tyranny.

Democracy is important, but it was mixed with a Republic for even more important reasons.
