@skinnijetta well there's really no tricky tongue placement. When i say put your tongue back in your mouth i don't mean fold it up or down or any way. I just mean push your tongue back to get your fingers in your mouth. Its more just squishing your tongue just behind your teeth. Make your tongue tense up and place your fingers inside your mouth. Make a seal around your fingers with your lips leaving only a small space in the middle for the air to get out of. BLOW! << Hope for a whistle.

@garrash6 Well i could help you out. But i am going to need a lot more info on what you are doing/what it sounds like when you are trying to whistle.

Are you not making any noise? Are you making a sound like wind rushing past your fingers? Are you just spitting a lot?

@garrash6 When I try and help someone who is making no noise. It is normally because there fingers are to far apart. Try putting your finger tips closer together on your mouth to the tips are nearly touching right on the tip of your tongue.

If you are making a rushing noise like leaves of rough wind. What I would try is angling your fingers up in your mouth. So the tips of your fingers are pointing towards your nose or the base of your skull/back of your throat.

Also it could be your lips. They may be a little loose around your fingers so try putting a bit more pressure on your fingers. Don't bite down on your lips and make the backs of your lips and fingers hurt. But don't let it be all floppy around in your mouth.

Then it would take me a few moments to get another good one. But now that i learned where the right placement is for my mouth i can do it 100% of the time!

@RacingMonsterEnergyX lol nice. Yeah This is a really good method for getting a lot of power behind your whistle. Lots of really loud sound.

I find that using one finger gets the job done but you lose a lot of control. The wolf whistle is also really cool to look out, but lacks the power behind the two fingers on each side.

Whistling is not something that you can learn with just a video. i think its more the FEEL of the whistle that really helps people learn. Lots of whistle videos show you how THEY do it. but the thing is that that will only work for them at times. I teach you how to feel it out for yourself and i think that's what really helps people the most.

@dude00074 Well its really funny actually... I cant whistle at ALL with my mouth alone. The most i can go is a Very low whistle when i suck in a lot of air i will get a small whistle. But i can whistle with every finger combination there is. i have even whistles with two Pens lol.

So being able to whistle with your mouth has nothing to do with it i am sorry to say. But it sounds like if you are getting a low whistle then you have your fingers spaced to far apart. try making the gap between...
