Putting a SB v8 into a GMC that had a v6 in it to start with is a basket case anyway that you look at it. I have had lots of Chev's over the years and my bro-in-law had GMC and we use to say that a chev isn't a chev all the time much less a GMC. Very simular in a lot of ways but enough different to not be alike. Cheers OLDDUDE

if you have it exactly straight , you have it wrong . they actually do not set straight , I think they set 3/4 to an inch to the pass side , no joke lol , it was to compensate for the drivers weight or something stupid lol

@wreckingcars72 maybe it is the drivers side , I will have to take a tape measure to mine , but I know they do not set in the middle , and if you put them in the middle you get strange tire wear lol I will measure it , and call the redneck beer joint latter and let ya know , and make a damn facebook asshole !!

that style starter will bust the fly wheel , don't try it period , you need the one that bolts to the bell housing , trust me , I busted one lol

@Tamper84 I use 3 camera's the main camera is a JVC very good camera the second is my so/so camera for dirty stuff it is a aipeck,and my 3 is a samsung!! That one is junk,I would never buy another one of those ever!!

It looked like the trans was pulling away from the engine in the beginning..... I guess you gotta pray all the bolts are in and tight on that clutch LOL.... that will be a loud beast to wake up!

@More350Power The trans was just not ligned up or bolted together all the way around,plus the starter was in a jam because of the broken bolt hole on the block!And yes I checked the clutch out it is and was the only thing that was tight!!LOL LOL

And oh yah she'll be real loud!! LOL
