that was a !POWERFUL! lesson man.. i learnt this scale when i started, but as iv never had a teacher or anything i dint really know it could be moved and changed...
i don't know if you herd but that's the sound of my MIND BLOWING ;)
Excellent vid !!! Very informational & instructive, but more importantly, it was FUN !!! Oh and with just a tad of " I'm not as think as you burnt I am Occifer" ... LOL... Really dug it man... Still working on my calouses, so yeah, I'm a newbie to playing... Played a tad when I was 17... Anyway, really great , subbed, fav'd & will be checking out more... Thanks for sharing this...
My friends scoffed at me for suggesting the sage was right on the money here and they were smote by lightning. It IS the MOST POWERFUL SCALE IN THE WORLD!
FUCKING HELL I LOVE YOUR TUTORIALS. Obviously im not a beginner anymore, but i watch them all because i pass on some knowledge to friends who are just learning, and i basically relay your method of teaching because it's so easy to follow and of course, i recommend your eBook because its the bomb. Excellent!
@Saaaataan Thanks brotha!!! Your username sounds like if Satan was an old college buddy and you have not seen him for a long time and you missed him dearly and he still might have your favorite t-shirt that got mixed up in the move. Thanks for the kind words and turning peeps on to the ebook. You rawk!
Sorry, I've never understood what it means that the scale is moveable. Do you mean that in any key it's always the same tab numbers? So there's no difference between an A major and a B major pentatonic scale? So scales are always the same? (meaning: 5 - 8, 5- 7, 5-7 and so on for everyone of them?). Sorry!!!!
i got it! i got it! it's the most powerful scale in the world!!!! *stares at my very tiny pinkie* i wish there is some way i can stretch my last finger. ah! another awesome video sir! yeehaw!
@Theguitarmaniac99 Noodling means playing notes one at a time, like soloing. Not chords, where you'll play multiple notes in a single strum. Basically, when he plays the pentatonic scale, one note at a time, that's noodling. or picking.
@Theguitarmaniac99 i think to noodle around it means to keep your index finger on that and then use your middle and ring fingers to play the other notes on that scale around it
One thing I love about YourGuitarSage is that he takes complicated theory aspects, jazz terms, and improv basics and puts them into layman's terms. It's really helpful for beginner and advanced musicians! Thank you Erich!
Pentatonic scale sound is already on my mind.
so when someone play it i now already what's the next sound. :D

@artuneas No, it means the intervals are the same, no natter where you are on the fret board.
5-8, 5-7, 5-7, 5-7, 5-8, 5-8 is for keys of C major and A minor.
If the song is in the key of B major or A-flat minor the frets you would play are 4-7, 4-6, 4-6, 4-6, 4-7, 4-7
