Can anyone tell me what they are using for the percussion in this song?

I believe the percussionist is using brushes along with a hi-hat, snare, and kick drum. There might possibly be a shaker thrown in too but i'm not sure. However, on many of the live recordings of this song, African hand drums are used.

They're talking about an actual merry-go-round. Called the Flying Horses. Its in Oak's Bluffs, Marthas Vineyard. I've actually ridden this every year of my life since i was three, and caught the very brass ring that he is talking about several times, and taken em haha. Its a carousel.. actually the first one in America. This song is amazing and means a lot.
