R44 and R46 are the same subway cars, but they have different sides.

This is the throback to the old school when the R46's were painted blue on the sides and they had the role-up signs on the sides.MMMMMmm. Those were the good old days my friends I thought would never end.

On the Trainz Download Station (DLS) or if you have Trainz 2006 and Content Manager Plus, just search for "R44" and you should find both the GOH R44 and pre-GOH R44.

No idea who controls it, but the announcements should really be fixed. The conductor isn't making proper blue book announcements. The announcement for that train should have been, "Ladies and Gentlemen, this is the Conductor. We are delayed because of train traffic ahead of us. Please be patient.

Welcome to NYC! I wish they could actually announce something worthwhile but you're usually lucky if the PA System is working. Only the newer fleets brought in have automated announcements, that are something more of the lines of what you've posted.

I just took the sounds found on a website and plastered them on to the video for some added realism.

It is unfortuneate that some conductors don't follow the blue book. I was going to say in the other comment that although it isn't blue book, it is realistic sounding, and along the lines of what a lot of conductors say despite being wrong. I personally always make my proper blue book announcements and perform my PA checks.

How'd you do this? This is really kool. Is it a train sim? I always loved the R44 and R46. I hope someone makes a game of this soon. LOL. Or at least an O scale model of it. I have the R32 in O scale. It's beautifully detailed.

This is actually from a train simulator called Trainz Railroad Simulator 2006. The R46 in the video was made by a user on the forums below, called "Magicland". LIRR M1s was on his to do list so I know it won't be long before we get to see them.
