the first secret garden movie i ever saw i was this one. they played it on the disney channel a few times several years ago and i loved it. only recently did i watch the original version. to be honest i liked this one more. i don't know why though

Actually, this is about mary's great granddaughter. And Margaret almost dies because she has a bad case of asthma. Katherine is also a big bitch and learnt about friendship throughout the movie. It's really a good movie, it's not bad at all. It's not even a rip off of the first.

Back to the Secret Garden isn't all that great either. I had it at one point. I ended up selling it because I didn't like it at all. Maybe you don't mind everyone being OOC Martha not at all happy dealing with kids. Mary and Colin married and Dickon dead in the War, SO not a great move.

Back To The Secret Garden is actually a sequel to the 1987 hallmark Secret Gardenfilmed at the Highclere Castle in England ;; which in the end Colin and Mary married since they weren't related. And Dickon died in the warr. That version was alot better than Back To The Secret Garden. What pissed mee off was she left the key in the door at the end for everyone to use which isn't howw it was sopposed to be. At least that's what I think.

I know. I knew as soon as I saw it which one it was a sequel to and I didn't like that one. I agree that she shouldn't have left the key in the door either. That ruined the Magic of it being a Secret Garden to me. I also have trouble seeing Mary letting Martha put in a door or Martha doing that because Martha and Dickon are the ones who taught her to believe in the magic. For Martha to create another door ruins the entire purpose. I felt the entire film was a let down. The 1993 version is my fav

From what I can understand the novel that this was adapted from is a friggin porno novel. Like the author of this novel turned the friendshipof colin dickon and mary into a sex love triangle which discusts mee. THe Secret Garden was always my favorite movie growing up. We actually watched the Halmark one in myy first grade class.
