It’s funny that Gary Lineker saying that the gulf between the premiership and the rest is widening and the following season chesterfield almost makes it to the final!
I remember watching this episode when it first aired and nodding in agreement about the crazy money in football.....strange to watch it 15 years later and see how it compares to now.
Stuart seems well clued up for captaining Forest in their "Yoofa" Cup run. "I haven't really known a lot of the players on the teams we've played so far this year."
Only Wimbledon could play on a rubbish surface like that and win a game, to them it was never about a good pitch, it was about how high you could knock it forward. And the 90s were AWFUL for fashion statements, good lord. Those oversize football shirts just asking to be tugged and what the hell is Stuart Pearce wearing? He looks like a dull cloud on a stormy day. Lineker has defo got better with age though, dont think Bux would have fancied him back then lol
What you've gotta remember mate is that a club run for the fans is "not in the best interest of football." Football is all about the money and if a rich man wants to pluck a club from its community so he can try and find a place where he will earn a bit more than that is what he should do!
You're welcome to both DirtySanchez1955 and 628402. There'll be a few more parts to this Football Focus, and I know I've got some more football on the old videos, so I'll stick them up as soon as I can. I'll try and do it this weekend!

"There's seven or eight of their players that are quite well known to me so that shows the strength of their side, I think"
Good to see that Forest went into that game so well prepared. How they lost it we'll never know.

Forest.... what a big contrast. They got relegated and stayed at the 1st Division ever since... Great fans. Great traditions.

Remember watching that match with Woan, the bastard lol
Great days, Lineker looks so young.
It's funny hearing him mentioning money and things getting out of control, it's 100 times worse now!
