I have a glock 22,I took it apart to change out the trigger springs for 3.5lb.I put it all back together, now the tigger won't click. On top of that, the slide will not come off because the trigger will not fire.I must of got something wrong.I was wondering if you had any ideas on how I can to fix it.Thanks...
Great video! Very helpful. One thing to note is the position of the slide release lever. The horizontal groove on the top should be facing towards the rear or towards the grip.
Great Video. I used it to put together my glock for the first time. You might want to touch on firing pin assembly for the spring and cups...other than that it was very thorough.
Great video man I dont get why there is 100 disassembly videos but none of the assembly good job. Might want to show the connector a bit closer I was confused at first why there was a gap.
only thing i would have changed it to put your camera in "YOUR" prespecti\ve. While watching the video everything was upside down so to speak.. But other then that great video...
this was the most helpful video i have seen....takes his time and shows you step by step. i could not get the trigger pin back in until i took his advice and left the slide stop out feeding the trigger pin in first but not all the way, then putting the slide stop lever in and finishing off the install.....thanks!
I had put my slide on improperly and could not remove it until I got the "slide cover plate" off, the firing pin and "extractor depressor plunger" removed (found a video for that). Once I got that done the extractor came flying out. This video helped me put all the pieces back together. I am very grateful!!! Thanks for the video.
thanks for the vid im bout to order a extended slide lever for my g 22 hope i can put it on as easy as u do i just think the factory slide lever is kinda small
Outstanding, thank you. I have an older 17 with two pins. I was able to use your video to assemble it back after watching another video re: detail dissasembly. Works great!
GREAT VIDEO. Thank you for both parts. Informative and easy to learn. About a year ago I learned how to detail strip a 1911. Now it's a glock thanks to you. Sincerely, JAMES.
Great video. Everything was well explained ,however I'd suggest that you set up a bright light to shine on the area you are demonstrating because some portions of the video were too dark to see clearly. Thanks for sharing your knowledge
First off, awesome video!!! The only difference I noticed was the order of pin removal/reassembly. The Glock Armorer's Manual states "The Locking block pin should be the first pin removed, and must be the first pin put in over the trigger during reassembly."
Thanks for posting such a great video. Kudos to you for taking the time to create such an informative, descriptive video that many glock owners and future glock owners (like me) will be able to refer to for years to come!!
I have just bought a Glock 17, and was searching for detail stripping videos on the web. Kudos to you for an informative, detailed, and extremely helpful video on exactly how to do that. Main thing I like is your descriptions of exactly what to hold or depress to remove or re-install certain parts. I found the other videos on the web to be lacking that information. I would love to see more videos of this caliber from you in the future. Thanks for your time, and effort.
Thanks, You cut through the BS of the other guys and gave pertinant Info which helped me re-assemble my 20... What kind of tard advertizes reassembly and just shoots all over the place?? Dumb!! Thank You...
Thanks to your video, I solved my problem in two seconds. I was simply trying to reinstall the slide after gun cleaning. The owners' manual says to reassemble the slide in reverse order of the disassembly. So, I was trying to reinsert the slide exactly in reverse, which doesn't work. Why don't they just say reinsert the slide by slipping the muzzle tip into the slide. Thanks again, I can see you've helped many others.
Your video is one of the better ones that I have seen. You may have mentioned this but I didn't catch it if you did. Each of the three pins is very slightly tapered on one end. Because of their slightly tapered ends, the pins should be removed from left to right and then installed from right to left.
hey Bro , Thanks for showing & sharing this nice video of yours, i did remove the firing pin of my Glock 17, it's my first time to do it. i have no problem assemblying my Glock 17. Thanks . so maybe you should also put a video on how to clean & properly oil a Glock gun. Have a Good Day.
hey man, thanks fore the walkthrou, my cousin is a policeofficer in Kosovo, and now i will show him how i can dissassemble his Glock 20 becaus i will travel there, and one more thing... Thanks buddy this helped me out... I just got my glock 27 and your video involved pretty much every step.. Thanks alot for teaching me how to maintain my glock without reading my book, since i understand things better when i watch them vs. reading them.. :)
Thanks, man. BTW... the book stops at field stripping... most of the gun manuals are 30 pages of liability disclaimers and warnings... they have one or two pages actually devoted to the gun.
Very cool. Thanks. I assume you have to remove the trigger group before you have access to the mag release spring?
You mistakenly called the magazine release the slide release or something about :50-:57. :) No biggie; everyone knows what you meant. Thanks again for the vid.
Ooops... never mind. You were talking about the disassembly lever... I mistakenly thought you were inserting the mag catch. You didn't show how to remove the mag catch, right?
very good video and helped me out quite a bit. Thanks for the great job. You mention some of the other videos out there - and you're right, not helpful at all...
This was very helpful in reassembling the Glock Pistol. Since my retirement, I no longer have access to a free Glock Armorer and we were warned of dire consequences of detail stripping these weapons. It is quite simple to strip and replace parts. In spite of advice to the contrary, I can't help but believe a thorough cleaning occasionally is desirable.
