Listening too these friday 13th tunes really brings the 80s back too ya. In the 80s the cars and motorcycles were cooler the whiskey and the beer tastes better and the girls were hotter.....Oh Hellsyeah
not my favorite but a good movie:) 1.part 6 2.part 8 3.part 7 4.remake 5.part 5 6.part 4 7.part 3 8.jason x 9.part 2 10 freddy vs jason 11.part 9 12part 1 that is my opinion
Pat V gets no respect because the real Jason is not in it...understandable, but this film also has the highest body count and the most realistic plot (after part 1) of the series. It also has lots of gratuitous nudity (Tina, Lana, and Robin) and a very '80s feel to it (clothing, Violet's Cyndi Lauper-like character, the soundtrack). I think this movie should have had Roy as the killer throughout, but brought back the real Jason with 10 minutes to go...and he kills off Roy! Awesome!!
@carnal85 Actually, Jason X has the highest count at 25 kills not including the space station that blew up. But yeah, it's a pretty damn good sequel despite the marks against it.
@Johnlindsey289 I think you could say that. Even though it has a "fake" Jason in it, you're fooled throughout the whole movie (if you're seeing it for the first time) thinking it is Jason. HalloweeN III is my 3rd favorite film of the series. I'd have to say...That this is one of my top five favorites of the whole series. I love the vibe of it and I love the outfit :)
Very underrated film, and the story is still good regardless if Jason was the murderer or not. I remember when the film released people liked it until it was revealed to be Roy the paramedic. Kind of a shitty excuse to dislike a movie.
@darthbinks99 As far as we know, he could've been immortal the WHOLE time, through a curse. He took a machette to the shoulder (Which probably penetrated his lung) in part 2. Axe to the head in part 3. I really don't see how anyone can survive his wounds without being rushed to the emergency room. Whatever he really is, isn't human, but it probably would've taken longer to recover from his wounds from The Final Chapter, and he lay dourmant until part 6. No one can clear this up but the writers.
@chris1974cw Are you serious? I bet you felt like an idiot when you found out the killer wasn't Jason. lol Despit everything, it's a good film with a shocker at the end, it's underrated as hell.
@chris1974cw Ironically, Part VI was the more Friday the 13th film I seen and Horror movie, and I wasn't scared. lol I was instantly hooked by the first time I seen the hockey mask.
@LittleDewDrop16 I know, they only have the demo version. It's not as strong, yet has a cool guitar solo at the end. For this song, I believe the original is on Autumnal Park. I want to get ahold of it, too.
My favorites in order: Part 2 Part 3 Part VII (though idk if i prefer VIII over it or not) Part VIII (though idk if i prefer VII over it or not) Part V Freddy vs Jason Part 1 Part VI (only a tiny bit better than IV) Final Chapter (part IV) Friday the 13th (2009) Jason Goes to Hell Jason X
This song sounds like it belongs in one of those straight to home video Scooby-Doo movies from the mid 80's. But aside from that and the incomprehensible lyrics it's a catchy tune.
I like the movie but this movie did not even have jason in it just some fuck up guy roy dress up as jason killing people and that cool I think. I love all of the friday the 13th movie and will never say anything bad about the there all ok buy me even the remake was good so and this is one good song I wish someone could come out a cd of the greatest hits from the friday the 13th soundtracks now that be great.
Actually, this song is a dead giveaway that Jason isn't the killer, or even above ground during the events of this film. No life in his eyes? Jason only had one good eye, and then Tommy went and put a blade in it. You got to hand it to Roy, too, for making that wicked deformed rubber skullcap. Must of had his own workshop in the woods somewhere. That alone makes him Mrs. Voorhees-creepy with all of her fires, poisoned water and gut stabs.
@RobbLowwOne Well really it shouldn't you assume its Jason in till the ending i thought it was Jason even no you don't see him for a lot of it besides has hands and his mask is a little different but i thought it was Jason but still its a great idea bringing a copy cat killer in to it like scream more realistic then a walking zombie in a hockey mask
wasnt this the one where there was a little black kid that was screaming like a little girl when he saw jason? if not which one was that I want to find a video of that cuz it is so FUNNY!
When I first saw the poster for this movie, seeing that the wrong mask was featured, I was like, "Oh, Jason's getting a new mask." What were they thinking?!
I remember that scene where Violet dances to this song "His Eyes" by Pseudo Echo she does this robotic dance move where she bumps into "Jason" who stabs her in the stomach where it was orignally written that he was supposed to stab her in the crotch but they changed it to avoid an X rating when I heard about that all I could think of is Eli Roth's Thanksgiving where the Cheerleader does the split on the trampoline and she lands on the huge kitchen knife, that made me cringe.
I agree as well, the 80s horror was original, delicate, and lets not forget sophisticated, but now, horror films are some what, not delicate and aren't even sophisticated as they used to be.
true. in the 80s when horror movies had certian cliches it would be laughable or serious sometimes but nowadays if a person walks into a horror movie and sees a cliche theyll either not like it or walk right out.
Tiffany Helm (The actress that dies when dancing to this song) Is by FAR my favorite actor in the entire franchize with MAYBIE the exeption of Kane Hodder(Jason in the later films).
You know what Mr. pagoogly, you're a fuckin' idiot, that song is not a genra of 80's Hair Metal, a song like that is faggoty ass New Wave or Disco or whatever.
your pissing me off. you cant be a fan of the 80s if you dont really like all of the 80s so why are you even bothering watching friday the 13th witch is a movie from the 80s.
I am a real true fan of the 80's, I was born in 86 and I am 100% old school, I watch the Friday the 13th movies because I love Scary movies, I collect them. I love 80's Hard Rock, and I love 80's movies. Don't tell me I can't be fan of 80's I just don't like wussy crap.

i loved this song when it was played in the movie.i was only 6 when it came out in uk!!! had the uk poster on my wall at the time.wish i still had it :(
I like the song. Not the real Jason but the copy cat did a good job, he was easier to injure than zombie Jason. I always wondered thoe, Jason is all decaying and stuff, how is it he was able to sneak up on people wouldn't you smell his butt 100yrds away??
I remember this being in the movie and was drawn to it right away for its catchy hook, eerie groove, and potent vocals. Lyrically, I think it's a very good/well-written tune. Colorful images and sounds bring about a really effective sense of 'doom & gloom' (which perfectly suited its individual scene and movie presentation itself). A New Wave group from Australia, Pseudo Echo is known heavily for its hit "Funkytown." This song can be found on the album 'Autumnal Park', a GREAT disc overall. A+!
Neither is Jason X or Part 9!!!, not 8, Jason goes too hell the final Friday, wrong on your shit dude, and Roy fucking sucked kapeesh. I mean my dick could have been the killer and it would have made that sequal better, Roy was a mutt, Part 9, Jason peice of shit X and Freddy Vrs Jason (Vomit material) Are not part of the series, being owned by New line cinema not Paramount
Roy killed 17 people and that was his first try, I'd say he was a pretty good killer. Obviously not as good as Jason became, but considering Roy was human he took a lot of victims and a lot of injuries! I like part 5 cos it seems more realistic in the first half of the movie, and then it has entertaining characters like Ethel and Demon.. Many people don't like this one just cos Jason isn't the killer, but that's stupid cos they liked the original movie where Jason didn't kill anyone either!
You make a good point Roy did kill well I suppose but I m,ean come on....It just has to be Jason, I mean how can they dig up Jason, and Jason get out of the grave alive, and it be Roy inthe end, Roy is not supernatural like Jason, he was human, plus none of the kidsd are all drugged out, wich is how I watch the movies everytime I do wich is a lot
Violet was doing a pretty cute dance right before she got murdered by Jason. Apparently, Jason wasn't as impressed as I was.

A very underrated sequel, in my opinion it's better than part 8, Jason Goes to Hell, and Jason X. Roy was a good killer!
slashville 3 years ago

I'd say it's good ^_^ just gotta be open minded, due to it takes Jason in a more supernatural style, but by all means see it
