This is a beautiful song, but as someone who's a bit older than you I think I should reassure you that people that are meant to be together don't ever run out of time, they just might decide to not use it for a while. so I don't like you're line "things will never be the same"; The guy you're singing about was really lucky to have you, and if you always remember the good times you had together then there's no reason to be sad; you'll always have a place in each other's hearts <3 stay strong ^_^
