This may be a very stupid thing asking (or maybe not) but are you American? Are you alowed Snipers in America? or are you only aowed them if you have military training or something along those lines?

I would also like to add, are people in the UK alowed weapons like this? I plan on getting a fire arms license/certificate (FAC) which is needed to own fire arms and I want to know the list of ranged weapons we are alowed in the UK.

@Smyshey Nope, am not a member of the free and the brave. Just lived upstate for a bit over a year.

This piece of artillery (I have no other word for it!) wasn't mine, and surely the owner was not a military sniper...

Any fire arm regulation I would look up from the internet if I were you.

I don't believe you can own this in the UK. In the states, its pretty much free game. If you can afford it, you can own one in most all the states, except maybe California, Illinois, New York, ect. You don't need an liscenes/training to own pretty much any firearm in the United States. The only weapons regulated are fully-automatic guns, supressors, short barrled rifles and shotguns, ect. They are obtainable as well but its much harder to get.

Stop pulling your head up after the shot, and train yourself to keep your firing position through recoil and afterward. It's called follow-through, and It will make your groups MUCH smaller. The M107 is great fun, albeit expensive!

@jwkeur good shooting man, next time try and get into a position where u can rest your right arm on something, resting the rear end of the rifle is just as important as resting the front, you will find yourself alot steadier and if u sit more perpendiular with the rifle the recoil wont punish u as much as sitting square on behind the rifle. Just a few tips that have helped me improve my accuracy over the years hope i could help! :)
