You have no imagination. Has it not occurred to you that with this research people will eventually be able to create robotic limbs for people that are missing them. You will no longer have to wait months or even years to find a donor. You could have a fully functional robotic limb produced in a day. If you look at their technology and also look at the android robot you will see that soon robots will save peoples lives.

Thats like me saying to you the treatments for cancer are useless because they do not cure the disease yet. It is the same thing. These robotic inventions are some of the ideas that will be behind the life saving robots. It is just going to take lots of time.

Oh and if you look on youtube you can find a video of surgeon robot which can be used for precise operations. The advances towards medical robotics have already started.
