When Darren performed this song, he hadn't actually met Delta. The ARIA organisers asked him to perform one of her songs as a tribute and surprise for her, because she was a huge fan and because she was too unwell to perform - she was still having treatment for cancer. She cried at the end because she was so overcome with emotion - she loved his performance. They met some time later and became friends and later performed this song together on the MAX sessions.

Oh, No, don't get it twisted! Delta's not mad or jealous! She and Darren were friends! They actually performed it together once, and he's singing it because he loves her song so much, and I think I read that he sang this as a tribute to her after she was diagnosed with breast cancer! She's not upset! On the contrary, she's overcome with emotion; he sang it so beautifully and for her. =)
