Can someone please tell me how to get that pinch harmonic sound like thing on the guitar in the bridge riff ( see between 3:53 and 3:54). please tell me the name of the tone used or any single way of how you could get it. thanks

If your guitar is in drop D and you know how to do a pinch harminoc it shouldn't be any problem =/

Be aware of that you need some distortion and the bridge-pickup to make it sound good, or else it can be a bit tricky. Also, if you don't know how to do a Pinch harmonic, you should just do some research at youtube and you'll learn it soon (:

@metaloroid Try choking up on your pick and stay close to the string after you pluck the note so the vibrating string barely strikes the little bit of exposed pick near it. It seems to help to pick it and hang close with the pick at an angle to the string. It's a learned skill and it takes most folks lots of practice to build the muscle memory to play those harmonics on demand. Those harmonics are produced because the string is plucked and then very slightly touched as its starting to vibrate.

Its funny to see the contrasting right hand styles of Mark and Willie. You can clearly see that Mark was properly trained, where Willie is more un-conventional. But they both sound as awesome as each other. Proves there is no right or wrong way to play guitar.
