In March of this year I visited these facilities and witnessed the amazing work done by the Hope for Haiti Foundation. Jean Elade is to be commended for his efforts as are the members of Hope Church. The earthquake has damaged a number of these places even though the epicenter is on the other side of the island. The devastation is immense and the rebuilding task daunting but new beginnings are a good thing in some cases.

Dear Colleagues
This has the potential to be a good program ... but it is more complicated than this video presents. I do not like to hear the word "gutting" in respect of old structures as a totally positive idea ... better to have restoration and modernization. I am looking forward to finding out a lot more about this initiative
