It was an amazing concert in Islington alright. The crowd gave this song in particular an ovation that went on for simply ages. Possibly the best concert I've ever attend too. Sparks are GODS!!

Parts of it was probably mimed, yes. But it's what the public requires of an artist, perfection. We can't yell at them for not being their best on stage, and then the next time for miming. We have created a kind of music industry that doesn't make room for imperfections. These days you have to be damned pleased if the artists wrote the song themselfes!
Still Sparks are one of the last REAL groups, who still treat music as an artform instead of a moneymaker, and I admire them greatly for that.

I've grown up with their music because they've always been my Mum's fave band, seriously, she's like their no1 fan! It's like them since waaaay before I was born, when they first started out I think. This has always been a fave of mine...& my Mum's of course. lol.
How any band has a right to be this visionary, this entertaining, this "other" after all these years is anyone's guess. Pure delight.
