RE: GAYE DELORME MEMORIAL: In keeping with eveyone being notified of Gaye's continuing legacy there will be an announcement August 21, 2011 after Gayes memorial at the Arts Club Theatre in Vancouver, of the release of his finished CD, American Jumbo. The same afternoon the CD will be available at the Yale fucntion. orders can be made through gayedelorme@yahoo.com for the interim. (Howard DeLorme, brother)
Gaye haven't stopped thinking 'bout ya since I heard the news. Damn I even picked up my guitar today. Loved ya even though ya pissed me off ya fucking jerk!
you was the best live, now ur gone and all i can do is listen to ur music and remember what u told me. ur the best uncle any1 could have had i hope im half as cool as u unga gaye :'(
This was a benefit concert for CNIB -- the Vision Award honouring then Premier Ralph Klein. Gaye was a wonderful performer -- and a supporter of CNIB. We mourn his loss.
The playing doesn't really start until 1:20, then turns from a flamenco warm-up to a cool latin groove at 2:00. He's great, but under-video-ed her on YouTube.
One fo the most beautiful pieces of music I have ever heard. You'll be sorely missed.
