Espino should not have gone more than 2 or 3 rounds with Pavlik; I don't think he's in top form anymore, mentally or physically. Martinez is a bad style matchup and just a hell of a fighter himself. I can't see Kelly finding him very often, especially if he doesn't jab like in this fight.

Agreed. Williams will be busy as hell, but Pavlik can take the punches. If Pavlik lands, Williams is in trouble. If Williams can play the angle like BHop, hey may be too much...I don't think he can play those angles. He can throw like crazy...but when you throw, you leave yourself open...and Williams has never fought anyone with Pavlik's KO power.

I also know that Kelly Pavlik will KO Paul Williams. Styles make fights. Race does not.

Maybe Martinez' chin would hold up, but I doubt it. If he can last 12 rounds, I would give him a good chance to win a decision over Pavlik. Martinez is very good, but not perfect. Either way, these three should all fight in 2010. Would be great for boxing.

Pavlik KO's Martinez. Too big and powerful. If Williams had a touch more power, he would have had Martinez out several times, especially late. Pavlik has that power. Granted, he's not as good as Williams. However, he would find Martinez enough to stop him. Paul Williams beats both.

well i'm British and no great fan of Pav...but you have to admit he hits hard, basic and effective, and finishes fights really well.

Strong, hard hitting, good chin, that all makes for a world level boxer who deserves to be where he is.

He's good at what he does, but has too many flaws. Like you said, Bhop taught him a lesson. People say how much more experienced LH Bhop was, but he only had 3 fights at 175 before his catch weight fight with Pavlik and was the underdog
