He genuinely has the mind of a child, albeit a ignorant and bigoted one, he is possibly the most immature, hateful, racist, demagogic retards I have ever had the misfortune of watching. I thought breakfast tv in Australia was bad, but he takes it to a new, disgraceful level; at least hosts in Australia have to pass primary school. It'd just be sad if he wasn't so ignorant and hateful.

I usually find his humour rather refreshing . However I watched this segment and fully agree with you. But I particularly resented when he said the aftershocks he had felt since being down here were minor. Let's face it if you experienced the ChCh earthquake there is no such thing as a minor aftershock for us, each aftershock we feel we're automatically in survival mode in case it ends up like the Sat morning one. Was very disappointed in his lack of empathy!
@HIMxxPilgram I agree but enough with the victim mentality already Christchurch. You all got off lightly, no deaths and plenty of momey headed your way to rebuild things.
@heinemeister I got off extremely lightly in the sense that I have suffered no property damage. But i still experienced a very traumatic natural disaster and every aftershock i experience reminds me of that. So don't tell me to get over my victim mentality. I have a child that is unable to sleep at night because they're afraid they'll wake up to another big quake. I understand that if u have had not had this experience you can not fully comprehend how traumatizing it has been.
@HIMxxPilgram I understand that. I hope that this sentiment is shared by others so that when disaster strikes over the world that you all give very generously.
But really.. some of the stuff coming out of CHCH is OTT.
@heinemeister well everybody deals with stress differently. People who have underlying mental health issues anyways are more likely to find this a very trialling time. New Zealand has to get over its "harden up and get over it attitude" it's not a healthy way to live and stigmatizes and discriminates against those already finding life difficult.
@heinemeister Look, I get what you're saying, but some people didn't get off so lightly. No one died in the september quake, but houses were ruined, and for an historic town like CHCH, that's a bigger blow than people realise. You obviously haven't been in a quake because even if you didn't lose anything, the mental impact it has on you is huge.
@HIMxxPilgram I live in Christchurch, and have had to leave my house. I'm getting sick of everyone whining and playing the victim! Harden the fuck up. This isn't the first disaster, and won't be the last.
