okay, so i understand about the regular noseband now. but still, with the flash. well if you have a different training method besides shutting their mouth, please do come out and tell my trainer (who is 12th in the country of best trainer) how to train her horses. im sure she would love to hear that. (and im not being sarcastic at all)

okay so now im confused slightly. r u saying a regular ole nose band is cruel/mean? i dont use a flash, my friend uses it on her jumper to train it to keep its mouth closed. if she didnt have to use it, trust me, she wouldnt. but if you wanna try and train him to close his mouth without one, be my guest! i agree any bit can be cruel if in the wrong hands. which is why i would NEVER use a full bridle on my horse because i am uneducated on when to use the bottom rein and how strong to use it.

i see your point i totally do, and i agree with you on the fact that if a horse is untrainable its unsafe to ride it. now i dont ride them im only a junior so im just talking from this one persons perspective at our barn. but there are stallions who are trained who open their mouth and dont close it and throw their head, now some horses do slow down if you pull, but they usually have a pretty harsh bit in, now there r horses who have the nose band that shut their mouth, with a d ring snaffle in.

Yes there are such things as raging stallions, anyone knows that a horse can be untrainable, there are those matters, now most horses are trainable and im also not saying all stallions are raging, ive ridden many calm ones. but for those raging ones you try stopping it in a regular d ring when it see's a mare or even better, a jump. see how far that gets you with his mouth gaping open and throwing his head up, it will get you to the ground that for sure

okay, you obviously r not following anything in my previous conversation, for shutting the horse mouth closed i was talking about show jumping, when you cant stop a raging stallion in a grand prix course, you need to shut its mouth. and yes i agree, the horse should be ridden in a snaffle, but dressage riders ride in this bit for competition sometimes only

omigod u oviously dont know anything bout riding that is a dressage bit it helps to keep the horse elevated and light to the hand when u are doing that kind of work u cant just use a snafffle if u look at her hand she does not jab it or do anything inhumane!

very nice horse and a great rider. Such a shame about the bit or should i say BITS in that poor horses mouth along with that horrid grank nose band. Poor horses jaw is cranked shut around such a horrid amount of metal

what bit do you suggest they use? haha i mean seriously! have you ever tried to ride a horse in dressage with a regular d ring snaffle? the only reason is his mouth is shut is because if the horses mouth is open you cant exactly have any contact. its like the show jumpers that literally have their mouth shut, the only reason that is because its impossible to slow them down if their head is stuck straight up in the air and their mouth is wide open! think before you speak!

Infarct both my horses are schooled and shown in lose ring happy mouth snaffles. My horses have self carriage i don't need metal in there mouth to get them to work for me. In dressage you can only use a snaffle or double bridle I WONDER WHY THAT IS? A well schooled horse should go well in a snaffle. A well schooled horse should be ridden on the leg AS THIS HORSE IS. My mare is schooled in a halter with self carriage and shes 4 . LEARN TO RIDE!!

have you ever tried to do these movements PERFECTLY in a d ring snaffle? i checked out ur videos and hun they r NOWHERE NEAR THIS GOOD! now im not saying i am a good rider AT ALL i just learned how to do lateral movements the other day from toying around on a german stallion (they have to learn how to do dressage in order to be called a german stallion) and i could get his head down but i tried him in a double rein and do you know how much better he was?

they have to do dressage moves to be called a german stallion HAHAH what a load of bull shit, iv never heard so much shit in my hole life, so if its not a german stallion what is it called A GERMAN MARE?

He is better in a double bit becuase he has no choice in the matter, riding a horse and getting in to work in a soft bit show the horse is willing and able to do so. Holding its head in with 2 bits in its mouth IS CRULE. You need to go back to school.

i just watched some of your videos and hun, they r no where near this! there is a reason as to why they u rnot! ahaha now not saying i am a good enough rider to do this im only 14, ive trained with a dressage olympian before and he rides just regular riding in a d ring, he can ride them in a d ring, but he doesnt in the ring nor when hes training. but its harder to get them up and heavy on their feet with just a d ring

You clearly no sweat FA about this HUN. My horses are 3 young lady of course they are not as good as this and more then likely never will as i will never put two bits in my horses mouth.

rollkur is bad for countless reasons.

the worst one for me is that if a horse i in rollkur for long periods of time, especially as it is still developing, the spine grows to a point and when the head is lifted above the vertical(a more natural position) which is how they are in a paddock or stall, because they don't just walk around nice and collected, the skull is hurt when it hits the point in the spine

you can tell he was trained in rollkur because numerous times he's behind the vertical

encapuchonner pauvre cheval , on voit meme la cavalière tiré sur la guele de son cheval car celui ci donne des coups de tete ! Sa gache cette discipline tellement jolie a l'oeil mais tellement mauvaise pour le cheval :s
