I Dont know much about mac But from what i know from what i know i dont like it i will explain if you ask but i do love the products Apple produces they are awsome like ipod touch iphone and ipods etc
Apple have had their "tower" inside the monitor since before 2002. Back in 1999 I was using the first iMac model when doing my PhD. It was a big heavy old CRT monitor, but the "tower" was all contained within it. So, Apple have been doing this for over 10 years now, PCs still don't!
im starting my first year of university in september and im thinking of switching to mac. whats ur opinion? im not sure if its going to be hard to use and such. and would i have to learn a new program for typing? (i use word). and do you actually get no viruses? haha
nup, no viruses at all. for me to get used to the mac it took me approx 2 weeks, it depends on others. and word is on the mac aswell, (but extra) and it pretty much the same as MS
GREAT documentaries. very informative, i have a very similar story. watching these stories makes me love mine all over again, using my grandmas new PC this weekend with Windows 7 made me just miss my beautiful mac. great story, check out the documentaries...
I'll switch to a mac once I can save up enought. The price of admission is truly a thing to overcome for a PC user like me. I considered myself to be quite geeky and I do use computer a lot, however never touched a mac. I hope it would be a revalating and entertaining experience by it's self.
i do understand that price is a factor when purchasing a mac, but it is definitely worth it for the great experience. i am getting my new mac tomorrow the 27inch iMac quad. I cant wait
I agree with everything you said. I can't afford an Intel Mac right now but my G4 is faster than all Intel PCs!
Macs are so nice! No viruses, random errors, missing drivers!
I have a Microsoft Lifecam, and to make it work on a PC, I have to plug it in and wait 15 minutes for the drivers to install, while I can take my old G4, or my cousin ubervande's MacBook Pro, and just plug it in and open photo booth and BOOM! The video!
The only thing I've needed.... (character limit reached...)
The only thing I've needed to install drivers for on this Mac is my HP printer. HP it the only other computer maker that I like, though I hate the Windows. HP makes great printers though.
It was Christmas 2008 (In the US at least) and we opened our presents and stuff. A few hours later we went ice skating with my cousins and I said I just got an iPod touch and they said they just got 15" MacBook Pros. I said that PCs were better and faster. When I got home, I went to the Apple site and looked at the MacBook Pros. I thought they looked pretty nice. A few months later my cousins came over and brought their MBPs. They were SO fast (comment)
They were SO fast and worked so nice! They felt so sturdy because of the unibody, the colors were so good and it was thin! Once they left, I told my dad I had to get a Mac. Well, another month later, I got a used PowerBook G4 15" Aluminum and that was my first Mac. It is really nice. It is faster than my HP and a lot of other computers too. It has no viruses or anything. Next December or March, I will have an iMac 20"!!!!!!!!
Yeah. I'd like to take a PC with Windows Vista (Windows 7 is not done yet) and a computer with Snow Leopard and see which goes faster and record it and send it straight to Bill Gates.
Vista and 7 (Someone's really creative with names "7") just can't stand up to Mac OS X!
Windows 7 is a piece of shit too. I really noticed VERY little difference from that and Vista, I switched to Mac over the summer. Never going back.

And arn't the new iMac's thin?!?!!??!?!?!
Microsoft is just a cheap rip off!
FTW!

O yes, the new iMac is about less than 2 cm thin. Its great. I wish you luck on getting an intel mac,
PS, I could not afford a mac book pro. So I went on ebay and bought one half price. (this was before unibody)

See how easy it is to mislead people. When you experience it yourself you understand that its fast, stable and more advanced
