Al is so inspiring. I too listen to him and always want to know more. When it comes to performing and acting, for me, he is unmatched. I would also like to agree with the comment that for his age, now 70, he is the sexiest man ever! Adore him....
I saw this play in Los Angeles and really enjoyed it. It was halfway between a reading and a full production. It was interesting watching Pacino in action. He constantly has different body parts moving-- a finger twitching here, a knee bouncing there-- so that when he picks his moments to get caught in action and allow the moment to swell it is all the more powerful. He's like a symphony unto himself, this guy. And the fact that he still does theater is just awesome.

I'd love to see the theatre version. When I heard, Pacino had been making this play, I borrowed the book in the library... Now, I am really looking foward to the movie / documentary about it.
does anyone know if Salomé is playing at any theatre at present and where? I'de love to see Al on stage.. he's a great stage animal, you can tell by all his movies. And yeah, he's as SEXY as hell, at 68!! ^^
@doktorfreud He's releasing a making of mocumentary of sorts called "Wilde Salome", later this fall (2011) about his experience directing the play. I was lucky enough to see the trailer at his Clearwater 'Al Pacino-One Night Only' appearance.
